I am not saying China is actively making road that passes through Nepal's territory. What i was saying is India directly encroached Nepal's territory and made a road to China and China didn't object to the construction of the road. It seems like China is fine with anything if it sees an opportunity to make quick cash.

What does any of this have to do with this thread which you started yourself?

Indians quoting other Indians to smear and implicate China for obvious reasons in their bad faith dealings with Nepal would be pretty much like trying to piss in the upwind. Nice try, but nobody really cares about basically what a nobody thinks. Nothing to see here.

Because China doesn't seek drama and trouble like some do. If Nepal officially asks UN or China for some intervention, that would be a different story.

And there is no Chinese road linking up the India's spanking brand new bone jarring gravel road upgraded from dirt tracks. Indian pilgrims would have to track another 5 KM in dirt from China border to reach a zigzagging mountain road that will go on for another five miles or so to reach to a nearest civilization with a provincial highway. Can Lipulekh be like another Se La in Tawang as in 62 war? Obviously that question keeps them awake tossing and turning, imagining all sorts of things.

Wow, just wow

Usually, I don't give a damn about what Pompeo says. But I am remembering back when Hilary Clinton was Secretary of State, she did a whole lot of the same "Bash China" speeches in South East Asian countries, which turn out to be a precursor to the TPP. Well, at least when looking back, it felt like those speeches were rhetoric building for ushering in the TPP.
It makes me suspect if what Pompeo is doing does have some "grand plan/strategy" behind it. Is Trump going to make up his version of the TPP when he is re-elected? Basically it will be a economic containment of a gigantic scale, as how I would imagine.

Obama's strategy is more well-thought of and more sinisterly planned.
Trump...well you have figures like Peter Navarro, John Bolton and Steven Bannon...all trigger happy neocons. And with State Sec like Pompeo who cant hide his intent to wage Cold War 2.0...erm....

Nobody cares about Pompeo as he has no credibility. Except for Sky News, they need to hear the same lies again to keep on believing.

wow. the world has been under US-led western world order for 7 decades, or 4 centuries if you consider in western colonialism powers era, more like the world has tolerated enough nonsense from the West than the other way around.

With everything that has happened during the 4 years of trump admin I really don’t see them having anything resembling a grand plan... more like a hastily put together trail and error strategy if you can even call it that. The only thing that we can be certain of is intent and that’s pretty much it.
