You are only looking at this from our perspective, that’s not how a large part the world is looking at this... otherwise their narrative wouldn’t have the traction it has and things like “China lied, people died” wouldn’t be the prevailing narrative.
That shows how much clout western media has at shaping the opinions and perspective of the world population. And also reaffirm that China is RIGHT to create their own social media ecosystem. That shows how clear-minded the Chinese leadership is.
I agree with you that all this reaffirm China position in creating its own social media ecosystem, tho I don’t think it was entirely clear-mindedness of the leadership, considering they made clear attempts to bring google and Facebook into the fold... but google and Facebook rejected.
Ironically it is social media that is crumbling, although very slowly, the credibility and clout of western media, which is quite funny in itself.
I notice it's more prevalent in Indian populations and Indian based political click farms with literally thousands of paid trolls on Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter (where Chinese are basically censored along with many pro-China sentiments). The central hubs for this highly belligerent information and propaganda war that's started this year after COVID is in the USA, UK, and India. I honestly read far more "China lied, people died" from Indians and other Asians e.g. HK protestors and FLG groups like the China Uncensored and ShenYun dance cults. It's not quite as prevalent in other parts of Europe where the Anglo American brainwashing campaigns have not had quite the same depth of penetration and exposure. Same applies to most of the developing world.
BTW these Indian political trolls and click farms along with the usual chauvinists upper echelon/ caste Indians with an interest in preserving the status quo, are VERY busy trolling Pakistan and Turkey at the moment. Especially Turkey re Libya, Syria, and Greece. These Indian trolls are busy talking Greece up on Twitter. It shows what a mess the reality of the "free" world is in. At every single turn they find something wrong about China and something to shift blame on. COVID is fair enough since it seems to have originated in China but the thousands of other diseases originating outside China are ignored conveniently when they want to bash China. It's amazing how the world burns itself and everyone's totally blinded to it, China becomes global enemy somehow. There is no solution to this problem and never will be because we're a different race. Only vigilant strategy would be to militarise to the extreme and defend yourself and your own interests from these savages and hopefully they all kill each other off in time. Or actually develop and unleash a potent bio/chem weapon on the world and be done with it. Something with 100% mortality rate within hours of contact. Since they're already blaming and acting upon China like that's exactly what it's done, may as well actually do it.
Why give SO much consideration and concession to these savages? They are a violent, war-loving people with a facade of morality and use their fake morality during times of convenience to manipulate others, shape narratives, and get their way. Their methods are well understood by those who have been victims of it but even they sometimes believe their own lies. It's just hard to play no.2... the guy in front is constantly doing all it can to push you back and the guys below are frankly quite envious. Therefore there is no need to talk about "new geopolitical doctrines". China can only largely continue to do what it's been doing for decades, seek tangible progress, don't aim to impress others and win pointless PR wars like India, and protect its interests with every tool available.

The irony is Russia has probably contributed to anti-China rhetoric. Russia has been for a while trying to convince China to help their efforts against US power in the world. They wanted China to help undermine US currency to weaken the US internationally. I don't fault them because if China wants the world to turn against the US, follow the money. If the world can't make money from the US, even China's most nationalistic neighbors will fall in-line behind China and shut up because they're no longer making money from the US.
This is good, but sadly I think the the EU's weariness of China has increased. Remember that Germany was also the first in Europe to make it illegal for Chinese companies to buy European companies for a year. I think the EU recognises that they need China for their economy, but may start to diversify (not decouple) with other Asian countries. China needs to find a way to prevent the EU from leaning toward the US. A good start would be to provide a surprisingly good deal in their upcoming trade meeting. Maybe in exchange for the Dutch letting ASML sell their equipment?
So far, it looks like the EU is staying out of the Hong Kong events. This is very good, now China just needs to handle 5(4?) eyes.

I could erase the word China from this sentence and replace it with the words United States and the sentence would be more fitting. I am trying to understand the US Neocons (and Neolibs) and their twisted fundamentalist ideology but comments like the one above make it difficult for me to really understand them. Can anyone please explain to me how people can be so out-of-touch with reality, get a platform and get away with it for so long?
