Did you have a question to ask? If not, then how is your link to a blog post relevant to this thread? You are expected to follow the forum rules and community standards here. Posting irrelevant material or links without a comment is forbidden.

actually since no one answered my previous two questions one about the SCS, I did some googling and believe found the answer, I wanted to answer my own question and update it but the forum won't allow me to edit to add to my post, so only way was to add new post/comment to include link to my above aforementioned question that now I have proffered my own self.

Then you should have said that you had found the answer. Posting just a link makes it difficult for other members to understand the context or what you are trying to convey.

This question may be very basic and already answered.

Folks on internet typically criticize PLA as an armed forces without experience, since the last conflict was about 40 years ago.

My questions are.

Will these lack of experience affect the combat effectiveness of PLA?
Is there anything that can be done to amend this issue?

Lack of experience was a bigger issue before in the 90s and 00s. There is a reason why China send so many troops on UN missions, it's to learn on the job.

Also exercises with Russia had been boosted up since 10 years ago, since Russia is the only major power willing to exercise with China.

Air force also exercise with Pakistan, which got a ton of experience.

No major power have real near peer/peer war fighting experience. Guys in fighters bombing farmers in sandles with also don't count as experience.

guys, do you know why r/china_irl is so critical and pessimistic of China? going on that sub makes me feel like I'm reading Gordon Chang everyday, but then again, they are the only fully Chinese subreddit. Should I trust what they say, given they might be much more aware of what is going on the country?

Also, what does the term 反贼 mean? I'm really confused; does it mean someone who is liberal and opposed to the CCP?
