Spengler never attempted to apply his thesis to Chinese civilization, but if one were to do so, the question suggests itself: what are the original Chinese myth-shapes and what are their contemporary materialist manifestations?

(I have a "Chinese Thought for Dummies" book somewhere around here that I should probably get around to reading at some point.)

In the last few days，my VPN stopped working. I have tried other VPN，alot of them have issues，unstable connection. I don't think it's possible to visit SDF if you are in China without VPN，at least I cannot.

Can anybody recommend some reliable VPN with stable connection？

VPN generally wouldn’t work under GFW. You should look for proxy services using shadowsocks, v2ray, trojan, etc. They are far better than vpn at disguising the traffic.

I used ExpressVPN when I visited China years ago.
I found different places block different sites in China. I couldn’t access CDF in Shanghai but was able to in Guangzhou
