Still unconfirmed by mainstream media. But playing for time might be useful for Iran.
They say that as if they didn't try to assassinate one of the negotiators in the middle of the discussions before.
Now Iran is directly negotiating with the U.S. It looks Trump's optimal endgame is for full Iranian denuclearization in exchange for an end to Israeli attacks, as well as the U.S. forgoing to join the operation.

It's not a hard concept to understand. Are you not reading through the posts or are you developing sympathy for whomever is taking a beating? It's BOTH a hospital AND a command center. THAT'S why it's so despicable. Israel is the nation version of a soldier shooting at enemies while holding a pregnant woman in front of himself, except this pregnant woman is willingly his shield. "No one is innocent," are her words. And you're saying it's better to be shot by him than to shoot him through her.
Hiding command centers under hospitals doesn't mean that the command centers are now ethically immune.
It's not tit for tat. Israel bombed hospitals to kill civilians. Iran bombed hospitals to kill the military installations hiding under the hospitals.
They do. They really do. Your kind of thinking gets people killed and I have a feeling that it doesn't extend to yourself if you were attacked. You just have sky high standards for others. If someone were gauging your eyes and biting your nuts in a fight were you both agreed to fight clean, I have a feeling you'd do the same right back rather than yelling, "Stop! I won't do the same to you because 2 wrongs don't make a right, but please stop!
Have you been living in a cave? This has already happened and the US sanctioned and seized the assets of the judges. There is no law in this world as long as the US and West still run it. Giving Israelis a taste of their own medicine and more is the only way to handle business for now.
At this point, any country is stupid enough to reach an agreement with the Americans, sign it, and then either pull out or violate the treaty.
American credibility is gone, and the Iranians are likely to fall for this American line for the second time.
I would like to be more optimistic about Trump too, but struggle to do so. Maybe I'm just too much of a cynic.
Trump doesn't actually need to order the deployment of American nuclear weapons, he can simply acquiesce to the deployment of Israeli nuclear weapons.
He probably lacks the vision, but if he could think a couple steps ahead, Trump could even seize the opportunity to force Israel to denuclearize afterwards. Not counting on any of this to happen, but this would be one potential path to that Nobel Peace Prize he've been thirsting for.
Though there's always the possibility that multiple iterations of conventional munitions will suffice, or that Trump will just call it quits and declare victory only to be forced to circle back down the road.
The Trump administration doesn't think that far ahead.
One of the biggest tell tale signs was when US sanctioned Iran in 2019, they exempted India and it's operations involving the Chabahar Port.
