Amazing accuracy by those Russian missile and Syrian missilers.

Hummm???..they claim they shot down 71 missiles...interesting....but wait a minute! They could not hit the much larger target on radar of Tornado's, F-16 Fighting Falcons and B-2 Spirit? Amazing!!..

And why didn't the Russian battery's of S-300 & S-400 attack incoming aircraft??? Did they fire off a single missile?

Unlike portrayed in the MSM news, Assad is not stupid. Firing at US jets plays exactly into the hands those itching for regime change. Firing at cruise missiles doesn't carry the same risk. I believe some of US missiles were engaged not only by SAM but by Pantsir-S1 as well. Modern point defence system like Pantsir were probably more successful at intercepting tomahawks than the older SAM systems.

No missiles were reported targeting Khmeimim airbase or Tartus. Since Russians were not targeted or harmed, there was no need for Russian air defence to fire back. I don't know about you but I am happy that US and Russia kept up the pretense of proxy war during the strike.

As for what actually occurred during the strike, I personally don't believe either narratives. The truth is probably somewhere in between. Some missiles were intercepted but not as many as quoted by the Russian MoD. Unlike pentagon report, not every US missiles hit its target as well since aftermath photo of Barzah facilities doesn't look like the surface of moon if all reported 76 missiles were hit in a such small area.

alternative view, as usual:)

a) french airmen did not fire missiles, only seamen;
b) yes, brooklyn bridge will be just fine;
c) 41th specop center and national guards command center although targeted were not hurt;
d) incoming missiles were detected by SA-11 crews at the distance of 24 to 12 km, altitude about 6 000 m., false targets sorted out, 12 of the 12 cruise missiles destroyed - night coverage of a war correspondent at Dumair airbase, syrian military play footbal earlier in the day.

and 19 AGM-158 Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSMs)

At Barzah, “They had three buildings there and a parking deck, Now they don’t.”

Salors is the proper term, the French actually launched from both air and sea assets. They used Refale and Mirage fighters
b) yes, brooklyn bridge will be just fine;
the Russian and Syrian Ambassadors are willing to give you a great deal on it for a limited time! They accept cash and most major credit cards but not AMEX.
c) 41th specop center and national guards command center although targeted were not hurt;
the targets for the strike seemed pretty targeted on theme of chemicals and not command nodes for military operations.
d) incoming missiles were detected by SA-11 crews at the distance of 24 to 12 km, altitude about 6 000 m., false targets sorted out, 12 of the 12 cruise missiles destroyed - night coverage of a war correspondent at Dumair airbase, syrian military play footbal earlier in the day.

Wow A 6000 meter kick... Impressive but man if the Syrian military teams still only managed to tie the game with a kick like that... Damn must have been some game.
