Japan is making preparation to land on Diaoyu Islands and erect stone signs. Should this occur expect something on the level of Cuban Missile Crisis.
The Chinese system sounds more environmental friendly although may not be as efficient in moving the volume of air as in a force fed system but those fans will defeat the purpose of removing pollutants overall as the power to run them coming from a power station would just add all sort of nasties back into the environment instead of removing it. The fact the filters themselves is imported, it will cost a fortune to replace or maintainSome more positive news about India. India has inaugurated its first 'smog tower' in Delhi. The smog tower is essentially a building-sized air purifier.

I knew they just had to mention China. If China has it, so India must have it too.
Anyway since China's own smog tower was mentioned, I just had to look it up.
So this is the 'Smog Tower' in Xi'an:

It was built in 2018. Is 100 meters high, and can cover an area of 10sqkm. Interestingly, it uses heat from solar energy to heat up the air and have that warm air rise up to the top of the tower, passing though a number of filters. This kind of passive draft system is not as efficient at moving air as using fans to create forced draft. But this method would surely be way more energy efficient. Plus, it would also require far less maintenance. So I have to say that China's smog tower is still more impressive.
I doubt japs have the balls to do that. some japs want to use provocative action to drag America into a conflict, it's time to give japs a dress down.
下克上, an imperial Japan classic.
Also note, read it from the comments, that the Vietnamese PM met with the Chinese ambassador before meeting with the American VP Kamala Harris.Dream:
Seems the past few years on social media, westerners coping with the rise of China would always salivate at the thought that Vietnam will join the anti-china alliance ...
Reality:
I said it on the Afghanistan thread but I think that China should start supporting at the UN, that the US should pay war reparations on behalf of Afghanistan.
I think it's an interesting point that China bringing the US to account at the UN will show definitively who is on China's side and who is with the anglos. It should make targeted sanctions more effective.
