I only got half way through, and I concluded that it was just all about "CYA" as in "cover thy arse."

He used the usual talking points to demand the United States stay the course, to continue the failing policies he had a direct hand implementing.

It is kind of remarkable.

Pottinger thinks Americans are more stupid than he is. And he thinks that stupidity is something to be proud of.

Yeah, the airlift at Kabul airport, a product of stupidity, something to be proud of.

Pottinger had his chance. His Chinese sanctioned ass should just shut up.
I mean just read this pathetic line of whining from this piece of work anglo-white supremacist: "The most aggressive of these campaigns is the one the CCP launched against Australia. More than a year ago, Australia proposed that the World Health Organization investigate the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea was supported by nearly all the members of the World Health Assembly, but Beijing decided to punish Canberra for its temerity. China soon began restricting imports of Australian beef, barley, wine, coal, and lobster. Then, the CCP released a list of 14 so-called “disputes” that are, in effect, political demands made of the Australian government—including that Canberra repeal laws designed to counter the CCP’s covert influence operations in Australia, muzzle the Australian press by suppressing criticism of Beijing, and make concessions to China’s territorial claims in the South China Sea. China targeted Australia with precisely the offensive economic strategy that

Forced labor! Why is no one talking about this?
Sir, please. You misinterpreted the facts. This is all about "freedom". See? They have the freedom to choose a 99 years sentence or work in order to reduce their sentence.

The US' constitution forbids slavery but being so magnanimous it allowed for people to reduce their sentence by just doing some work.
The founding fathers were so wise and freedom-loving that they gave everyone freedom, even in prison.

God bless America and god bless these brave prisoners tirelessly working for the betterment of the American economy.

Communist China wished it had so much freedom

This is why the BBC is the best propanganda mouthpiece in the worl

Anyone else remembers when the Western Media were in a massive propaganda campaign against Chinese vaccines and how they didnt work?

I remember thinking that this counter-productive approach would eventually turn against them. Well, I was right at the end. What they achieved was mass disinformation in their people and helping them become anti-vaccines

Another example of how Western propaganda media is the West's greatest enemy.

Some more positive news about India. India has inaugurated its first 'smog tower' in Delhi. The smog tower is essentially a building-sized air purifier.

The structure is 24 m high, about as much as an 8-storey building — an 18-metre concrete tower, topped by a 6-metre-high canopy. At its base are 40 fans, 10 on each side.

Each fan can discharge 25 cubic metres per second of air, adding up to 1,000 cubic metres per second for the tower as a whole. Inside the tower in two layers are 5,000 filters. The filters and fans have been imported from the United States.
The tower uses a ‘downdraft air cleaning system’ developed by the University of Minnesota, said Anwar Ali Khan, senior environmental engineer, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, who was in charge of the project.
Polluted air is sucked in at a height of 24 m, and filtered air is released at the bottom of the tower, at a height of about 10 m from the ground. When the fans at the bottom of the tower operate, the negative pressure created sucks in air from the top. The ‘macro’ layer in the filter traps particles of 10 microns and larger, while the ‘micro’ layer filters smaller particles of around 0.3 microns.

The downdraft method is different from the system used in China, where a 60-metre smog tower in Xian city uses an ‘updraft’ system — air is sucked in from near the ground, and is propelled upwards by heating and convection. Filtered air is released at the top of the tower.
I knew they just had to mention China. If China has it, so India must have it too.

Anyway since China's own smog tower was mentioned, I just had to look it up.

So this is the 'Smog Tower' in Xi'an:

An experimental tower has been built in Xian in Shaanxi province, northern China that is said to be the largest air purifier in the world standing at over 100 meters (328 feet) high. It has been undergoing testing by researchers at the

to quantify its effectiveness. Authorities are seeking ways to tackle the nation’s chronic smog problem and this could be a good solution if they can prove it works well. The scientist leading the project claim it has brought a noticeable improvement in air quality, although further testing is required.
Around the base of the tower is a system of greenhouses that cover an area about half the size of a soccer field. It sucks polluted air in and heats it up with solar energy. The heated air then rises up through the tower and passes through multiple layers of cleaning filters. According to Cao Junji, head of research, they have observed improvements in air quality over an area of 10 square kilometres (3.86 square miles) in the city over the past few months and the tower has managed to produce more than 10 million cubic metres (353 million cubic feet) of clean air a day since its launch. Furthermore, on severely polluted days the tower was able to reduce smog close to moderate levels.

It was built in 2018. Is 100 meters high, and can cover an area of 10sqkm. Interestingly, it uses heat from solar energy to heat up the air and have that warm air rise up to the top of the tower, passing though a number of filters. This kind of passive draft system is not as efficient at moving air as using fans to create forced draft. But this method would surely be way more energy efficient. Plus, it would also require far less maintenance. So I have to say that China's smog tower is still more impressive.

I know we tend to shit on whatever India does because of their tendency to make themselves bigger or make pronouncements that's basically nothing but delusions of grandeur. But this latest smog tower ought to be commended and encourage since it'll help a lot of people in Delhi breathe a little better with a little less pollution. Hopefully, this will be a success and would further encourage the use of such tower for the betterment and over all health of many Indians. Love em or hate em, they are still our not so friendly erstwhile neighbor.
