All here without optics, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were only recently re equipped.

Of interest is that the QBB-95 is visible in the third row back (noted from its bipod, visible), so at least for this unit, for now the QBB-95 will remain the IAR role.

Will be interesting to see if they eventually get replaced by the QBV/QBU-191. After all, giving it a drum mag or even giving it more standard 30 round mags for the soldier carrying it will allow it to perform quite well as an IAR as well.

Theoretically, the QBZ-191 can use the QBB-95's drum mag, can't it? If it can then the only outstanding problem would be its right side heavy design.

To be fair, Holosun manufactures their optics in China anyway. So, either a copy is inevitable OR that company sourced their optics from the factories Holosun sources from and slapped a new trademark on it. Personally, I feel like the latter is possible as the PLA are really picky with equipment.

It’s much more likely that Holosun made a new logo to avoid possible US boycotts and sanctions for supplying the PLA with optics.

It’s logical, and I think I called it several years ago. Wait I did

that would work for the carbine portion but not the grenade launcher, also adoption of a mini dot like say the Holosun (Made in the PRC, low cost light weight, small size fairly rugged) could be expanded across to the QBZ95 I and QBZ 03.

Rebranding a product for a different market is not unheard off. In fact it’s ridiculously common place. As Holosun is the stated OEM of their product line meaning that these are the real deal.

Questionable. The firms HQ is in Walnut California. But the sights are made in China in the same factory as Primary arms and some of SIGs. Basically it’s a branding for the sight.
