No, Sony is still HQ’d in Tokyo. What is on California is Sony Interactive Entertainment division. Feel free to say “Same difference”. Yet that’s not entirely the case.

I was under the impression that Holosun was the OEM. This means that they ran the factory and were the end of the line contracting their services to other brands to sell their products. Instead we have branding. So Holosun is basically Huanic America. This is closer to how GM used to sell Chevrolets in Australia as Holdens. Still the OEM but different name slapped on the back.

Another American company complaining when being outcompeted. I also highly doubt their claims on the patent problem. The next decade will be a fun one folks especially when China beats them on every field. Now if China could just only start selling higher quality firearms to the market that would be great.

That US gun owners would buy Made-in-China optics to the point that US companies cannot rely on "trusted US quality" anymore?

Just look at Holosun vs Trijicon drama that is happening right now. Holosun has been gaining waves in the US gun community because their optics for pistols and ARs are high quality. They also have high-quality customer support and these are not being said by me but by the gun community that uses them. The drama started when someone who bought both companies sights later went to state that Holosun lasted longer and had better support when compared to Trijicon's products and this hurts them badly because their American "tried and tested" sights that soldiers have used in wars are being beaten by some newcomer who also happens to be Chinese. Then you look at the newest up-and-coming sights from Holosun. They are about to release a sight that has a battery built-in that lasts over a month staying on without needing to recharge. They are innovating faster than Trijicon and putting out more advanced stuff while still being cheaper than their competition. This has caused a stir among the community because we know they all hate anything Chinese and seeing a Chinese sight manufacturer succeeding is the biggest shame they've faced.

Just like Chinese AKs, the average American won't give a damn about this drama and would buy whatever is best for them and that so happens to be Holosun. This has obviously put some damages to the other companies and they are now playing dirty just like what they did with Huawei.
