Another American company complaining when being outcompeted. I also highly doubt their claims on the patent problem. The next decade will be a fun one folks especially when China beats them on every field. Now if China could just only start selling higher quality firearms to the market that would be great.

China can’t. Clinton blocked Chinese firearms exports to the US.

That US gun owners would buy Made-in-China optics to the point that US companies cannot rely on "trusted US quality" anymore?

Holosun’s quality and price can’t be argued with. Most American gun owners would buy American in a heartbeat if the quality and price were even comparable compared to Holosun products, but they are not even close.

Holosun routinely wins or draws with top of the line western optics in fair durability and reliability tests, has far more features (shake awake is great), much better battery life (although western brands are catching up in that regard) and comes in significantly cheaper (they used to be a fraction of the price, but a combination of other optics makers slashing prices and Holosun probably increasing its own profit margins to cash in on its brand has eroded that significantly).

As an aside, Holosun optics typically have 40-50k hours battery life. That’s 4-5 years of it being on 24/7. But many have shake awake and solar cells, so practically speaking, you are probably not going to need to change batteries for a decade or more unless you are some sort of LARPer who goes dancing with your guns every chance you get.

I love how the meme of Fallen western manufacturers… I see it a lot these days where every thing from cars to weapon makers made in China will supposedly drive the competition out of the market if “only protectionism falls”. Which is funny as the Chinese products have entered the US market and often sit at either lower tiers or considered lower quality if not downright scams.
The best selling dot on Amazon is the Sig Romeo which is funny as it’s made in the same factory similar build as the Holosun line. It probably sells as it does more due to the Sig name. The best selling dot in the US is Aimpoint not holosun.
Aimpoint (a Swedish company) already was well known for extremely long battery lifes before Holosun entered the market.
The Trijicon law suit was settled and we have no idea what it’s end game is. However they were facing more than holosun as the RMR was ground breaking in the US market as a Pistol dot. Rapidly every other optics maker then entered the line soon after it came out.
This is all entertaining but pointlessly Off topic.

More screen grabs. I have yet to find the video.

A closer look at the laser sight (with integrated weapon light):

Is that a drum magazine on the far left, or is it the angle?

That's interesting, the last image. I'm almost sure that's the DMR but from that angle, it looks like an M-Lok rail for the full-length instead. Great find.

Do marksman get 1-4x28 LPVO scope while normal infantry get 3x or 4x32 ACOG? Why don't just give everyone LPVO? Isn't the 1x mode better for CQC?
