Let’s consider this hypothetical scenario where India offers all of its land to a developed nation in exchange for taking care of india and its people, would any nation take them up on their offer?
Say global warming hits and India is 50C everyday and no water. India offers its sovereignty to the US, but US will have to consider all Indians US citizens.
Would China?
I would think the response should be clear enough to dispel any Indian delusions of being invaded by china.

The problem is though your hypothetical is based on rational thoughts of rational people... which to a great extent the Indian people are not or at least the rational voices are drowned in a pool of irrationality...
Further, I think you are missing something from your analysis of ‘Indian delusion of being invaded by China’...
1, we have examine how India treats its own ethnic/religious minorities, which for the most part are oppressed by the majority. We have even seen suggestions from Indian think tanks that they should be eliminated out right.
2, Indian media brainwashes their people into thinking that China will invade and oppress others... the example given are Tibet and Xinjiang while conveniently omitting that China PRC had every right to reclaim Qing and ROC territories... other examples include but not limited to SCS, Pakistan (debt trap), Sri Lanka (debt trap) and Africa etc...
3, Indians have a history of projection... what they themselves want to do to others they will project onto the other... it is obvious how India conducts itself to its other immediate neighbours that India desires to expand its borders or make vassals of other states, should they be able to take control of other states they will probably cleanse the area... much like what they are doing in Kashmir with majority support of the Indian people too... so you can see what they will likely do should they take control of Chinese territory and in-turn they also project this onto the Chinese, along with point 2, the average Indians likely believe that the Chinese have the desire to take control of India and they will simply massacre the Indians and take the land...

It's not worth the effort, if India is that attractive why did the British willingly give up on her. Look at HKG, a tiny city state were Thatcher plan to negotiate an extension and Falkland an isolated outpost were she goes to war to reclaim it. The reason is PEOPLE, in HK case a productive work force , In Falkland their own kind. That's how they see India at this moment, a society were MOBS RULE. Now what I'm afraid of is that they will export their problem to the rest of us (there goes their demographic dividend). At least China is safe they were brainwash to hate her and having the Himalaya as barrier, but how about the rest of us (ASEAN). Singapore are having issue with it's Indian workers is an example of thing's to come.
But since it's a hypothetical scenario, I think the US will balkanized India and take the most valuable part as its owned. so to with China. I think China will prefer ARUNACHAL PRADESH, LADAKH and ASSAM (sparsely populated with rich resources), while the US wish to claim Andaman and Nicobar island, which is easily defendable with its powerful navy.

That would never happen. The US can't take care of a billion people let alone their own people. The result would be catastrophic for the US economy. The US would literally drop into the ranks of a third world country. Would Indians be considered full fledge American citizens? They would have to be. Just imagine how many congressmen they would get in the House of Representatives. They would get a majority say. They wouldn't settle for two senators for a nearly a billion and half people either. They would take over the Senate. The US has a hard time letting the District of Columbia become a state. One of the reasons they don't give DC statehood is they would get two senators. They don't give all US territories that privilege either. That would be a lot of senators. Indians would takeover the US.
