No they weren't.
There's actually been a lot of patience over the past 2 years.

Why didn't China block Australian exports before?
Hi AndrewS,

My opinion, they need to find an alternative and also they want Australia to reflect first before they act. Now what Australia accused China of coercion hold no meaning, it fell flat on their face.

Australia won't budge. It's in their culture, and it's only going to change on a generational timescale.

Australia is bascially becoming China's Cuba. It'd be stupid to impose a broad sanction against doing business with Australia unless American missiles or bombers are actually deployed there, but travel restriction is a good start. Make it illegal for Chinese citizens to travel to Australia for tourism, studying for non-research degrees or obtaining new permanent residency without obtaining approval, which will in principle be denied. If things continue to deteriorate, make it illegal for Chinese citizens to retain existing Australian permanent residency. I have lived in New Zealand and Australia for a total of almost 10 years. New Zealand is just a superior country in every possible way. And they invented pavlova.

Australia more or less has American missiles and bombers on site; those american soldiers stationed in Darwin for instance as well as Pine Gap facility which co-ordinates US drone and missile strikes worldwide, and not to long ago, there were plans to base a nuclear aircraft carrier in Perth, Western Australia. This will eventually come about because Australia is compromised as an independent nation and is a defect american satrapy in the service of perpetuating white anglo hegemony in the form of the US led FVEYEs.

Look at what Australia is doing right now, intimidating China friendly politicians, media, business and lobbying groups. Isolating and targeting Australia's economy for destruction will give ammunition to the Anglo hegemonist leaders who already point out China as a threat. Australia will need to be 'denazified' and that means boots on the ground. Permanently.

These are symbolic measures at best and wont do much. China imports Iron ore worth more than $80bn from Australia and this where action need to be taken. Ofcorse diversification isn't easy and other countries don't have the production capacity that Australia has, but with time and investment from China things will change.
Australia will learn the hard way that's its easy to find sellers but not buyers.

This should be supplemented with hardpower projection. Send some ships to the International waters near Australian coast. Its time China also exercises its freedom of navigation which other nations are always eager to do in SCS.

China should just establish a navy outpost at Papua New Guinea.
Australia will be like OH, EXPANSIONIST CHINA INFRINGING ON MY SPHERE OF INFLUENCE

Lol, you look like the so-called "China-experts" from the west living in echo chamber where they are unable to accept being challenged, and calling every one "CCP Apologist". You are superficial.
LOL The irony is thick coming from someone like you. You actually talk like a Western "China-expert" trying to find fault in every simple word or communication that China publishes. When challenged, you give a meaningless defensive "response" such as, "You have no clue, spare me something blah blah" and superficial would be a compliment to you because you're mostly just wrong.

Worldwide the rhetoric right now is defintely overwhelmingly anti-China... and from a geopolitical standpoint it benefits the incumbent reigning hegemony to foster and propogate antiChina sentiment globally as part of its information warfare campaign and maintaining/gaining the lead of soft power against its greatest geopolitical foe/advarsary

Given that the vast majority of the internet out there is already overwhelmingly anti-China and pro-West/pro-US, one would think a forum like SinoDefenceForum would be one of the select few refuges of the Internet where it was okay to be pro-China...

Yet the likes of Orthan and Escobar would have one believe that even in small minority tiny circles one has to be pro-American to "be fair"... which is not unlike going onto Native American reservation lands and telling the natives that its racists/unfair to have overwhelmingly so many "natives" on these reservations and to be more balanced they should diversify more and make sure for every native living on the reservation that there is a white guy as well...

Lol You two are quite the pair. Calling to "Shut up" " China-hater" "mental disorder" is what you mean by being challenged? lol lol lol
I answer to sound challenge not drivel or ranting from your group of superficial fanboys without wit.
