Zhao Lijian is on fire today with his response:
不管他们长五只眼,还是十只眼,只要胆敢损害中国主权、安全、发展利益,小心他们的眼睛被戳瞎
It doesn't matter if they have five eyes or ten eyes, if they dared harm China’s sovereignty, security or development interests then they should be careful not to get their eyes poked out

This is where your prejudice outlook coloured your own judgement and bias analysis.

Yes, it will be great if China and Australia get along. It use to get along, as recently as the Rudd government and before.

But what changed? Did China changed and became aggressive towards Australia? Or did Australia changed by following US too closely, particularly thus Morrison government.

Don't forget, it isn't China sending warships to OZ's coast. It isn't China that is saying OZ is a security risk. It isn't China that insist Covid is China's fault and need to be investigated even though a respected world institution like the WHO said no need.

So please. This unnecessary tension is all down to OZ, and OZ alone.

China is at fault. For growing in economic size and gaining political clout. By threatening the monopoly of western powers at defining global rules. You growing is wrong. You getting stronger is abnormal.

Professor Chen Hong (an Australia expert) describes the behavior as juvenile or immature:
However, during the past four years, the Australian Liberal-National Coalition government has been displaying an incredulously juvenile world outlook. It has further shown injudicious judgments, and an immature understanding of its relations with the rest of the international community. Canberra unrealistically presumes that by challenging and insulting a big country such as China, Australia would be able to boast about and celebrate its "coming of age." Whenever differences or frictions have occurred, Canberra would categorically sidestep conventional diplomacy of frank and open discussions as adults. It has instead petulantly vented wrath and fury with offensive rhetoric and aggressive measures.

An adolescent undergoing growing pains would act out impulsively often without deliberating upon the ensuing consequences and costs. Maturity in its true sense is characterized with long-term deliberations, open-mindedness, tolerance and mutual trust. Querulous finger-pointing and insensible complaints only betray a deep-rooted sense of frailty and insecurity.

What annoys me the most right now is the silence from Chinese Foreign Ministry. Where are the condemnations? Do i need to remind them that Anglo Nations literally jump at every minor thing possible when it comes to China. Why is China always on the defensive?
This was the right time to bust the so called "Australian Values" but alas no action.
