If the US did use the B-2 with the penetrator bombs at Fordow like they claim, the B-2 would have to fly on top of a known target. The SAMs can wait in ambush positions there easily.
It can't be done without disabling air defense.

On the other hand, regarding Iranian options, they have none. Now that the US have showcased their ability to strike the heartland unopposed, they can always just blow up critical infrastructure and leave. Why even negotiate? Israel has a unique opportunity to cripple one of their staunchest regional enemy and keep them down for decades.

Iran pretty much allowed US to bomb it, even though it was more symbolic bombing. Pretty absurd stuff is happening.

On this planet only the three great powers and maybe France and UK are capable of detecting stealth bombers. Pretty absurd if you're expecting Iran to shoot a B-2 out of the sky with the AA-guns they have left.

Iran had long wave radar stations. Basically equivalent to Rezonanz. But those were fixed sites. Supposedly taken out with air launched ballistic missiles. The mobile SAMs have X-band radar. But even X-band can track a B-2 if you know where it will fly.

Iran fell for the same trap as Armenia & India did. They felt they were "too good" for Russia or China and wanted to integrate into the West. They had plenty of opportunities to buy decent anti-air systems as well as modern jets. They even considered the J-10C but refused it. It was all about Western integration.

I feel bad for the civilians getting caught in the middle, but this was an entirely preventable crisis. Obviously Iran has the moral high ground but geopolitics isn't about morality. Also, the regime is pretty odious even if the Zionists are worse.
