Kaveri is getting hyped again.

Indians got a rude shock; the overpriced jets they bought didn't help much. If you're going to get your planes shot down, might as well be cheaper homemade ones. The problem is that the Indians are overestimating themselves as usual. A jet engine at a high quality level is still many years away. And the plans to "co-develop" a more powerful engine is the typical Indian mentality of "leapfrogging" before mastering the basics.

Besides, how many times must they be told that rich countries are not going to give away their secrets? ToT is mostly a PR tactic to lock in buyers with false promises.

I continue to be amazed again and again. Every few years over the last 10-15 years Kaveri gets a cameo on the hype train and every time it’s more of the same, nothing.

At this point I don’t understand how Indians can see these BS posts and still be hyped about it. Aren’t they taking ‘turn the other cheek’ too far, having been slapped in the face again and again with more Kaveri ‘best engine to have ever engined’ BS.

Or just the plane or drone falling out the sky, I guess then even reconnaissance UAVs can become kamikaze drones with a kill count.

They also put the flag backward and forgot to add the white part.



Yet they claim Pakistan put fake Indian flag and serial number on fake Rafale part, they seriously are master of projection.

That and the fact that rocket engines do not need to operate for the same duration as jet engines and often single use.
