Five people were killed and several injured after a parachute landing a humanitarian airdrop failed to open, bringing a pallet crashing down into a crowd of people waiting for food north of Gaza City’s Shati refugee camp.

The government media office in Gaza confirmed the casualties after the incident occurred on Friday, lambasting the “useless”

Apparently the UAE was the one dropping aid with those faulty parachutes. US allies are dropping aid like they are dropping bombs.

This isn't new. The US once decided to drop leaflets, I think it was in Afghanistan, and they just dropped the whole pallets with the leaflets bundled together. Which crashed into people's houses breaking roofs and things like that.

Not UAE. A joint operation of US and Jordan. Now both countries are denying that it was their aircraft that dropped the package (i.e. blaming each other).
Jordan says they didn't use any C-17 aircrafts to drop the aid so it's definitly not Jordan. And the Americans are denying it while the UAE is saying nothing about it, which ever one that did it will obviously not come out and say I was the one dropping the lethal aid.
