Over the years I have had a lot of people ask me to do a video of my entire model collection and put it on my you tube channel.

That's well over 150 total models and here it is:

Air Force Brat, KYli, Janiz and 5 others like this.

    you're welcome:
    1. based on 2016 Force Structure Assessment, the USN was supposed to get to 355 ships in 2034 https://fas.org/sgp/crs/weapons/RL32665.pdf BUT INSTEAD
    2. the USN is going to count unmanned vessels to increase numbers https://www.defensenews.com/naval/2...ture-could-herald-a-new-strategy-experts-say/ WHILE
    3. the USN doesn't have CONOPS for unmanned vessels https://www.military.com/daily-news...build-drone-ships-faces-hurdles-congress.html BUT
    4. the USN is going to spend almost $3b, three billion dollars, on unmanned vessels soon https://news.usni.org/2019/05/15/na...-unmanned-ship-prototyping-acquisition-effort AND AT THE TIME
    5. the USN doesn't have money to finish testing of LCS Mission Packages https://www.defensenews.com/naval/2...shes-funding-for-the-navys-lcs-sensors-again/ and the USN wants to retire, as soon as it can, a major component of CVGBs I mean the Ticos, actually even the Truman! I think you've heard EDIT or want a link?

now politely put (LOL no, I sure hadn't read it before I made the above posts), quote,

“In view of uncertain LUSV concepts of operations, requirements, technical maturity — including many [first-of-a-kind capabilities] — the contrast between a proven aircraft carrier and its air wing and unproven unmanned surface vessels is stark,” a source familiar with the thinking of congressional authorizers told Defense News in December.

as if the CNO had read Yesterday at 8:17 PM
LOL I mean "Rather than using unmanned vessels to help reach the 355 mark, as some have suggested, Gilday said unmanned platforms would supplement the battle force total and not count towards that 355 figure." https://news.usni.org/2020/01/14/cn...attle-force-count-wont-include-unmanned-ships
