True but as icloo said the Pakistani army placed a premium on the high-climb rate and maneuverability in high altitudes. T-129 was much better at that because that is mostly about excess engine power. The Z-10 should have become much better because of the increased engine power though.
Hi but what good is T129 of USA blocked it’s sale to PAA due to engines been USA so that’s one of the main reason Pakistan evaluate Z10 some time back and ask China to enhance its capabilities which China probably been able to do so
Turkish local engine is still sometime away from been able to get into T129 for export that’s the reason t129 manufactured for Pakistan with the usa permission been exported to Philippines so Turkish govt won’t be loosing their export order
so only viable choice for PAA is at the moment Z10me or whatever new model is online for export
thank you

Consider economic status of Pakistan, another option is delay it.

Hi if we go by that logic j10 delivery should have been stopped PA can delay it but not for too long as Indian army is keep on getting Apaches Pakistain army can’t match Indians in quantity but to some extent they have to have something to respond & cobras are getting out of that ratio
so I go with your economic thing that’s why these Z10 can be like 18/24 pieces something if not more
another thing is arms procurement at the moment with economic crisis and other decisions involved nobody is willing to supply for Pakistan except China
thank you

People seem react with little or no knowledge.....

I wish my post hadn't been deleted by moderators (justification hasn't been given yet), as it contained specifics about the recent and ongoing arms procurement by all three branches from different overseas sources.

It's very impressive that China is willing to export a helicopter with pretty advanced technologies, not seen in a lot of helicopters. Perhaps this indicates they have better systems than the export version that will be used in a future helicopter design?
