Ranges of KUZGUN Ammunition announced

Technical features of KUZGUN Modular Ammunition Family developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE were announced. The KUZGUN Family, which has various configurations, will have a high range.

TÜBİTAK Defense Industry Research and Development Institute (SAGE) Manager Gürcan OKUMUŞ explained the technical characteristics of the KUZGUN Modular Ammunition Family during his presentation at the LAGARI Aviation Days. The KUZGUN family was first exhibited during the 14th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF'19).

According to the information obtained; The first firing tests of the KUZGUN Modular Ammunition Family are planned to be carried out this year. According to the technical characteristics of KUZGUN Ammunition; It has different configurations such as KUZGUN-SS (Glide), KUZGUN-TjM (Turbojet Engine) and KUZGUN-KY.

KUZGUN Ammunition, which can be fired from F-16, MMU, HÜRJET, HÜRKUŞ and various SİHA platforms, weighs less than 100 kilograms. KUZGUN Ammunition will have various warhead options such as fragmentation, piercing, thermobaric and general purpose warheads; It has seeker navigation options such as Laser Seeker (LAB), Imager Infrared Seeker (IIR), Radar Seeker, HOJ, mmW Radar, Data Link, ANS and KKS.

KUZGUN-TjM, which is the turbojet configuration of KUZGUN ammunition, has a range of approximately 245 kilometers; KUZGUN-SS, on the other hand, has a range of approximately 110 kilometers.

379 KIRPI IIs with integrated BTS-2 were delivered to the Land Forces

Deliveries of the Troop Tracking System (BTS-2) integrated on the Kirpi II TTZA, produced as part of the Tactical Wheeled Vehicles-2 (TTA-2) Project by the BMC company in the inventory of the Land Forces Command, continue. 379 BTS-2s were integrated into TTA-2 vehicles in the inventory of the Land Forces Command. In addition, supply contracts were signed for 114 BTS-2s.

If the additional 114 BTS-2 system is for vehicles to be supplied by the Land Forces Command within the scope of the TTA-2 project, the Land Forces Command will have supplied 493 Kirpi II TTZAs within the scope of the TTA-2 project. Planned was 329 Hedgehog II TTZAs.

The Troop Tracking System (BTS-2) is a friendly unit tracking system that periodically transfers the location information of the vehicles to which it is integrated, to the operation center over the communication infrastructures of the vehicle.

Tactical Wheeled Vehicles-2 (TTA-2) Project: 379+ BMC Hedgehogs II with Inside-Commanded Weapon System feature to effectively combat terrorism, transport personnel safely and quickly, provide effective and continuous combat and combat service support to maneuvering elements. Serial production of the battlefield recognition-introduction system of the Altay Tank started.

The battlefield identification promotion system of the Altay Tank, which continues its mass production activities in the main contractor of BMC, will be supplied by ASELSAN.

ASELSAN has been providing system solutions to meet the wireless and communication needs of military institutions since the early 1980s. It offers uninterrupted, safe, economical and fast communication solutions to users by combining experience and current technological developments.

Mass production studies have been initiated for the use of the Battlefield Recognition and Identification System developed in accordance with NATO STANAG 4579 requirements in the ALTAY Tank.

The battlefield recognition promotion systems, developed to protect the elements on the field from friendly fire, were also developed by Aselsan in this context. Signed between Aselsan and the Defense Industry Presidency; Mass production activities are carried out within the scope of the contract for the use of the Battlefield Recognition and Identification System (MSTTS) developed in accordance with NATO STANAG 4579 requirements in the ALTAY Tank. In addition, Aselsan conveyed mass production offers for the expansion of the MSTT system in other relevant land platforms of the TAF.

FERSAH Hull Mounted DSH Sonar
