What’s the advantage of using mobile armatures for the missile container mount? They look very cool but I wonder if there is tactical consideration for the design.
I'm sure the developers know what they are doing. To me it seems the only feasible way to make the system as compact as possible with the lowest CoG.

Also, what is the chassis used on current HISAR iteration?
The Hisar-A+ uses the ACV-30, which is a lengthened and widened ACV-15. The Korkut SPAAG also uses the same chassis. The Hisar-O+ uses a Mercedes Zectros chassis.

It is probably for off-road mobility as keeping them up would raise the center of gravity.

The chassis is this vehicle:

KARAOK hit its target with full accuracy!

The KARAOK shoulder-launch anti-tank missile, developed in cooperation with ROKETSAN and ASELSAN, hit its target with a full hit in the first guided test missile launch.
An important step has been passed in KARAKOK, Turkey's first national shoulder-launch anti-tank missile. In the first guided test missile launch, the target was hit with a full hit.

Making a statement in the annual report regarding the test firing, ASELSAN used the following statements: "The KARAOK Anti-Tank Missile, in which the Infrared Seeker was delivered, hit the target with a full hit in the first guided test missile launch."

KARAOK, whose Infrared Imager Seeker was developed by ASELSAN, will greatly increase the operational capacity of ground troops.

The contract for the development of the National Long Range Air Defense Missile System SIPER was signed between the Presidential Defense Industry Presidency and the ASELSAN-ROKETSAN-TÜBİTAK SAGE business partnership in 2018. In this context, ASELSAN continues its system and subsystem design activities for radar systems required within the scope of the Long Range Regional Air and Missile Defense System, and started prototype production activities.

According to the information obtained; It is planned to complete the production of the first prototypes of the ground systems under the responsibility of ASELSAN in 2021 and start testing activities. In addition, ASELSAN continues to work on data link system development for the SİPER System.

In the SİPER Long Range Air Defense Missile System; There are many ground systems such as Fire Control Radar (AKR), Search Radar (TEIRS), Communication Station Vehicle (HIA), Fleet Control Center (FKM) and Fire Control Center (AKM).

SUPER Air Defense System Features
The SIPER Air Defense Missiles, which will have a range of at least 70 kilometers, will be equipped on an 8 × 8 missile launch vehicle. It is estimated that the SİPER Air Defense Missile, which will have a double-impact engine, will not use any booster, just like the HİSAR-A + and HİSAR-O + Missiles.

Each SİPER Air Defense System Battery; four SUPER Missile Launching Systems (FFS), at least two Missile Transport Loading Systems (FTYS), one TEIRS Search Radar (AR), one Firing Control Center (AKM), one It will have a Fire Control Radar (AKR), a Fleet Control Center (FKM) and three Communication Station Vehicles (HIA).

ASELSAN AKKOR Project comes to an end

ASELSAN announced that the AKKOR Active Protection System (AKS) Project has come to an end. According to the information obtained; The development activities of AKKOR AKS will be completed in 2021.

In the statement made by ASELSAN on the subject, "While the development activities for the Active Protection System are continuing intensively, it is aimed to be completed by 2021." statements were included. AKKOR AKS will perform an "air defense" task for armored land platforms.

AKKOR Active Protection System (AKS)
The contract covering the development of the AKKOR Active Protection System, which is primarily planned to be used in the ALTAY Main Battle Tank (AMT), was signed between Presidency Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) and ASELSAN A.Ş. signed between. Based on the contract with a total value of 54 million USD; With the anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), it is aimed to develop an active protection system that is effective against rockets, providing 360 degrees of full protection and maximum local active protection system with national means.

The system, which ASELSAN started to work with its own resources in 2008, mainly consists of Smart Sensor System, Central Computer and Physical Destruction Ammunition. The Physical Destruction / Countermeasure Ammunition used in AKKOR is developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE.

Thanks to its modular structure, AKKOR is aimed to be used by other armored platforms besides tanks. The PULAT Active Protection System, which is currently in use by the Turkish Land Forces Command, has been developed for the urgent need of the Turkish Armed Forces as a result of the experience gained in the AKKOR project.
