That only covers the northern edge near the arctic.... you're going to need a new ICBM/FOB based ASBM to meaningfully threaten the Atlantic.

Though to be fair there may have been a rumour already of something along those lines if I recall correctly.

He’s so utterly lacking in basic decency that he’s forgotten the only reason he wasn’t sanctioned when his administration collapsed was because—even though he spent years demonizing China—he was still, technically, the symbolic face of the United States. And now he goes and pulls a stunt like this? What an ungrateful clown.

Now I know Trump and his team has shot their bolt and has lost the trade war-this is so puerile,low-class,juvenile,trashy and so low-browed and gutter crude-racism it reminds me of low-life modi calling Chinese "small -eyed people"-I expect much better from any world leader....but the vaunted USA?Don't expect President Xi will be meeting him in Seoul during APEC but then again Xi is above this clownish charlatan behaviour.

They lost the trade war eight years ago. The only way to win is not to fight it.

I don’t think the Trump admin is smart enough to realize that Xi wants them dead yet.

No, they're really not smart enough. Bessent's last statement said something along the lines of "We're not trying to hurt China's economy and we don't think they're trying to hurt ours."
