but why can’t Su 30s can use some less expensive ALCM kind of ground missile or like

S-25L laser guided rocket would not work against these ? Compatible with Su-25 and flankers. Need a targeting pod to tag the target.

MALE UCAVs are the perfect tools for this job. High endurance, positive ID capacity, instant strike capability, lower IR signature, high flight ceiling and zero human crew even if they are shot down.
The problem is that Russia doesn’t have such drones in remotely the numbers needed. And ultimately, both sides knows that these sea drone attacks are just harassment and diversionary attacks by Ukraine designed precisely to pull Russian assets from elsewhere and relieve the pressure the Ukrainians are feeling all across the frontlines.
The version keeps changing so I'm going to take it with a grain of salt since now they are claiming it was drones fitted with AIM-9 that shot down two Su-30's as has been mentioned in the thread. They keep changing the version and the evidence provided isn't particularly clear so far.
It wouldn't be the first time either, just like how they recently admited that the "A-50" they shot down was actually the Il-76 with Ukranian POW's
