I think a mobilization especially on the later stage of war is highly beneficial. Initially Ukrainians are very well dug in and well trained. Once they are pushed out of those position and its best trained units destroyed, they pose much less threat to lesser trained conscripts. It will no longer be a repeat of the initial conflict.

Not mobilizing early on also serves the benefit of helping economy withstand the shock of sanctions. Now that the economy is properly adjusted mobilization helps ending the war quicker.

Haven't been following this thread closely recently, but did this get posted?
If Ukraine truly has 191k casualty, that is just crazily high and not sustainable.

The Ukrainian army began to use US AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles. The remains of one of the missiles were found at the positions of Russian troops in the Donbass. The missile entered service in 1983 and is capable of targeting high-frequency radars even if they turn off or change frequencies. The length of the rocket is about 4 meters, the diameter is 250 millimeters. With such dimensions, the EPR of the rocket is not small, therefore, they should be easily detected by air defense systems. The missile is designed to be launched only from aircraft, perhaps in Ukraine, handicraft ground installations were created for launching.

The calculation of the Osa-AKM air defense system, the Russian marine brigade of the Pacific Fleet, showed its combat work at night in Ukraine. Several launches of 9M33M3 missiles were carried out against the detected targets. On the combat account of the calculation of the air defense system, there are already 115 destroyed air targets.

Footage of the destruction of a Ukrainian tank by a Russian precision-guided projectile "Krasnopol". The defeat of the tank was carried out in the area of the village of Peski.

The fact that Russian marines from the Pacific fleet are participating in the conflict is very interesting. Based on that, I guess the Russians are rotating troops to gain combat experience in conventional warfare.

CNN and other western media source finally acknowledge that the Pentagon is supplying advanced airborne weaponry(AGM-88 anti radiation missiles in this case) to Ukraine. Russia should have no doubt at this point that any and all conventional US weapons could be on the table

Explosions at a crimea airbase. Probably Ukrainian. Tho at this point. Nothing Ukraine does will change the battlefield anymore.

You mean Russian invasion is continune to lose it's steam?

Btw, according various reports 200-300km range missiles are now in use so this could be a taste of thkngs to come, Russian ammo dumbs aren't safe anymore even if put 100km away from frontlines, and now Ukraine is getting longer range western SAMs like NASAMS making thing even more difficult for Russians.

Fact that Ukraine can now target Russian airfields and heliports is bad new for Russians.

Russian military is incapable of destroying incoming missiles and now since Ukraine has received AGM-88 they don't know if the blip on radar screen is real target or something whats send to make them turn on their systems. Soon enough there will be a lot NASAMS AA in Ukraine too.

I know people here are feverently pro-Russian but after nearly 180 days of war, catastrophic equipment losses, invasion slowing by the week, Russian regular military driving around in ancient T-72AV tanks and non-upgraded BMP-1's, Russians digging fortifications in Kherson region instead of preparing for attack towards Odessa, would grow seed of doubt about how well this "special operation" is actually going.

Have a good one.

With the introduction of anti-radar munition Russia will have to adopt tactics like those Serbians used against NATO to avoid destruction of their AA systems, but that would also risk Ukranian long ranged strikes not being intercepted in time. Would be interested to find out how the Ukranians managed to fire those AGM-88 missiles, probably some sort of ad-hoc ground launched version?
