If they have 300km missiles then they won’t need to drive that far. Wasn’t there unconfirmed rumors that the US gave them long range missiles after HIMARs got destroyed since they were using short range missiles.
they don't seem to have them yet but that will be the perfect excuse to cut electricity to Ukraine from Russian controlled power plants PLUS stop pumping gas to EU.

ATACMS is old missile with poor accuracy. Each HIMARS can only shoot 1 missile. They would need to shoot a dozen missiles to be able to hit Kerch bridge at 300 km distance. The more distance, the less accuracy. Bridges are hard to disable and easy to repair. Now that the land route to Crimea via Donetsk, Zaporizia, Kherson oblasts is complete, disabling Kerch bridge for a couple of weeks serves no strategic value other than pissing off entire Russian nation and escalating the war. I wouldn't be surprised if Kiev dam becomes a target if Kiev regime chooses to disable Kerch bridge or a couple of weeks.

They fought this hard to win the Media war over snake island by dropping a flag there and later some soldiers to hoist it up. I don’t think it’s entirely unrealistic that they won’t try to do something with the Bridge. It would rile up some more support and put pressure on Western gov for more aid even if it achieves nothing on harming Russian capabilities.

I wonder what happened here.
The intercept point is nearly correct but the timing was way off. Perhaps that Kalibr avoided interception by simply slowing down a bit after interceptor was launched?
The second one, a hypersonic Kinzhal?

One thing this war has shown is that American missile deterrent is a bluff. That's why no western missile defences will make an appearance in Ukraine, even though they desperately need something.

If they can't stop regular kalibres, what chance do they have against mach 20+ ICBMs?

Add to that American malfunctioning ICBMs and it must be VERY tempting for Putin to start launching nukes.
