With large force destroyed in severodonestk region I expect overall Ukrainian force be severely weakened. I think we can expect faster push as there are less resistence. In a few weeks the whole front line could collapse.

After this campaign there will be several brigade destroyed and those would be Ukraine's finests.

It is a good thing bulk of the combat is done in Russian friendly regions. By the time they reach hostile territory there wont be much regular army left.

Shoigu went to the front for a visit, although I don't see Dvornikov anywhere. Curious to know who's in overall command of the ops now.
The Western mainstream and Ukranian news (today and yesterday) have been posting heavily that Dvornikov has been sacked, which seems like another round of "[X general] has been removed for poor performance". The Russians have been making massive progress on the Donbass front, their tactics are working no doubt about it. Even the Ukranians announced a withdrawal from Severodonetsk. I suspect this will just be another case of a general actually fighting the war he's in charge of, as opposed to PR appearances. There were similar news about Shoigu being side-lined months back, but that has turned out to be clearly nonsense.

⚡️Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine

◽️The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

◽️On June 25, the cities of Severodonetsk and Borovskoye, the settlements of Voronovo and Sirotino passed under control of the Lugansk People's Republic. The localities liberated from the Kiev regime are inhabited by about 108,000 people. Total area of the liberated territory is about 145 square kilometres.

◽️Success of the Russian army and the units of people militia of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics considerably diminish moral and psychological condition of the Ukrainian army personnel.

◽️In 30th Mechanised Brigade deployed near Artyomovsk, there are mass cases of alcohol abuse, drug use and unauthorised abandonment of combat positions.

◽️Russian Federation Armed Forces continue launching attacks at military facilities located in Ukraine.

High-precision attacks of Russian Aerospace Forces and Kalibr missiles were launched at 169th Army Training Centre near Desna (Chernigov region), 199th Air Assault Troops Training Centre near Teterevka (Zhitomir region), as well as at 184th Training Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Starichi (Lvov region).

◽️Attacks have resulted in neutralising 65th, 66th mechanised brigades and 46th Airmobile Brigade from AFU strategic reserves that were finishing their preparation at those training grounds.

◽️The planned redeployment of the abovementioned units to operations area has been frustrated.

✈️Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery have neutralised: manpower and military equipment in 286 areas, artillery and mortar units in 62 areas, 2 command posts near Visunsk and Barmashovo (Nikolayev region), 4 munitions depots near Verkhnekamenka, Lisichansky and western suburbs of Lisichansk (Lugansk People's Republic).

Within the counter-battery warfare towards Donetsk, high-precision attacks launched by Russian Aerospace Forces have resulted in neutralising 10 multiple rocket-launching system (MRLS) plattoons near Avdeyevka, Ukrainsk, Ivanovka, Novosyolovka Pervaya and Vozdvizhenka (Donetsk People's Republic).

◽️Attacks launched by aviation, missile troops and artillery have resulted in the elimination of over 720 nationalists, 12 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, as well as 16 special vehicles.

▪️The enemy unsuccessfully attempted to launch attacks by aviation and MRLS at Snake Island.

◽️The attack was repelled by Pantsir-S air defence missile and gun system and has resulted in the destruction of 1 Su-25 airplane of Ukrainian Air Force and 12 rockets.

◽️Neither victims among garrison personnel, nor damage have been caused.

Russian air defence means have destroyed 8 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Varvarovka, Ray-Aleksandrovka (Lugansk People's Republic), Belyayevka (Kherson region), Malaya Kamyshevakha and Malyie Prokhody (Kharkov region).

19 projectiles launched by a MRLS have been shot down near Suligovka, Glinskoye, Sukhaya Kamenka (Kharkov region), Makeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic) and over Snake Island.

1 MiG-29 of Ukrainian Air Force has been shot down during an aerial combat near Zelenodolsk (Dnepropetrovsk region).

720 killed + (probably triple of that in wounded). RIP

This past week, Ukraine casualties have doubled or tripled in comparison to last month. It increasingly seems to me that these casualties are unsustainable and we may be approaching a point where Russia would be making rapid advances against untrained Ukrainian troops rushed to the front-lines to fill in the gaps.

From the looks of it, looks like Ukraine still attempting to retake Snake Island after countless of failed attempts to raid it, what a waste of military resources which could be pivotal in keeping Donbass front at least manageable....

Looks like a revenge missile strike in Kiev in response to HIMARS attack on residential building in Donetsk.

While it is regrettable Russia cannot bomb the bridges on Dnipr river to prevent HIMARS from reaching Donbas where they shell civilians because the bridges on Dnipr river are built on dams and destruction of dams would flood millions of civilians, what Russia should do is keep hitting Ukraine's one and only oil refinery using cruise missiles and keep taking out fuel depots. No fuel means HIMARS cannot move. And if HIMARS cannot move, then they cannot shell civilians in Donbas.

bombed a rail bridge

TOS-1A attack near Lisichansk

Kiev is within Iskander range from Russian soil. They can use Kh-101 but they don't need to.

The usage of conscripts will lead to more deaths. Simply because these guys have very little training which will lead to accidents, confused communications, blue on blue shootings, poor discipline, low morale etc. They also won’t know how to use advanced equipments which will lead to more deaths and injuries. Once they come face to face with Russian firepower they will fold or die en masse. These territorial defense forces should be in reserve doing rear guard work. Or sent to the major cities like Odessa, Kharkov etc because urban warfare is easier for the defender. Instead they are sending them to the frontline to get annihilated. This talk of a big counteroffensive in August or the fall is not going to happen. Once the Donbas is finished I expect Russia to take mor territory at a rapid pace. Soon the majority of the UAF will be filled with Territorial Defense conscripts.

Ukraine don't have the luxury of putting Territorial Defense to good use. Russia has 4 times the population of Ukraine, and that's not counting rebels. Not to mention Russia has far more military hardware than Ukraine, and the fact Ukraine has no more fuel production which makes logistics all the much worse. Whatever men Ukraine can scrap up they have to deploy to the east, on foot if need be. Over the years Ukraine will become depopulated as people flee to the west and men are up at the front instead of getting women pregnant.
