The War in the Ukraine

Footage of two Ukrainian drones striking, presumably two Russian S-400 air defense missile system launchers. The video was filmed between the villages of Raevka and Verkhniy Olshanets in Russia's Belgorod region, 50 kilometers from the border. The air defense systems were unescorted and unprotected from the drones. Judging by the video, the air defense systems were not carrying missiles, as there was no explosion during the fire. As a result of the drone attack, one S-400 air defense system burned, and the second was damaged.

The Ukrainian army has launched a counteroffensive near Kupyansk. The attempt to retake the city is primarily using infantry and light armored vehicles. A video shows Russian FPV drones repelling attacks by Ukrainian units near Kupyansk. The drone models are unknown. Media reports indicate that the Ukrainian army has lost up to 200 soldiers, several M113 armored personnel carriers, two Cobra armored vehicles, two Humvees, 13 cars, and other equipment.

What are those blue lights suppose to be? Lasers against drones?

Looks like it, but those looks to be off-the-shelf lasers, most likely industrial, that they bought off the web, as you can see the massive dispersion of the beam, so it looks like it’s got some power but don’t have the lenses to refocus the beam for different ranges.

It also look like they are basically just aiming those lasers manually, and essentially gave up after a short while and just tried to use one to create a barrier they hope drones will fly through to be damaged. Ironically the laser seem to have touched off a good deal of their AAA fire, which was impressive for the volume but not its accuracy.

Maybe a less focused laser screen is fine for defense against drones, conceptually. Interesting thing to think about.

If one can see the beam like that for laser, kinda means the beam actually heat the air and small particles around it.. that's sign of intense power. Normally one wont see the beam as most if not all current drone defense lasers are working in Infra red band, there will be no visible beam, unless maybe using thermal vision.

Footage of the Russian army's second strike on a strategically important Ukrainian bridge in the village of Mayaki in the Odessa region. The strike used optically guided Geran-2 drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile with a cluster munition warhead. The results of the strike are shown at the end of the video. The strike on the bridge has hampered Ukrainian army logistics and could disrupt up to 60% of fuel supplies to Ukraine.

I don't know, maybe shutting bullets in the path of the missile was not a good idea.
The number of bullets hitting ground/buildings and going strait up is worrying, they are clearly shooting at something in very low altitude to hit obstacles like that.

For the missile... the low arch for interception probably dont give enough time for autodestruction when it miss/lose target.
