US Set to Present Trump’s Plan for Peace in Ukraine Next Week​

US allies expect President Donald Trump’s administration to present a long-awaited plan to end Russia’s war on Ukraine at the Munich Security Conference in Germany next week, according to people familiar with the matter.
The blueprint would be presented to allies by Trump’s special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, according to the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity. They declined to say how detailed they expected the discussions to be or what format they would take.

The proposal would be delivered at the Feb. 14-16 conference in the Bavarian city a week before Russia’s war hits the three-year mark. Reports and comments from Kellogg and others in recent weeks have provided hints of the plan to seek what Trump allies have referred to as “peace through strength.”

Elements include potentially freezing the conflict and leaving territory occupied by Russian forces in limbo while providing Ukraine with security guarantees to ensure that Moscow can’t attack again.

Kellogg has signaled that the US would like to see elections held in Ukraine after a ceasefire, while Trump has indicated that access to critical minerals in return for US support could be part of a settlement. The retired general on Wednesday confirmed plans to attend the Munich gathering.

“I’ll meet with America’s allies who are ready to work with us,” Kellogg said in a post on social-media platform X.

The US president has also threatened Moscow with massive sanctions if it doesn’t engage in talks.

Ukraine’s top priority as an ultimate security guarantee is NATO membership, a prospect that Kyiv has acknowledged is unlikely in the short term. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said this week that he’s open to elections after the war ends — and once martial law is lifted.

The Ukrainian president’s top adviser, Andriy Yermak, spoke to US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz this week, while Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman said that contacts between US and Russian agencies were intensifying.

The Russians hold all the cards. This is DOA but it isn’t confirmed that these are the terms yet.

Ukrainian may have problem with supplying ammo and supplies to the frontline troops in the Kursk region, so their tanks are loaded with ammo before going to the front.

If Russian could introduce a hard-kill anti-drone system for their armor, the front-lines would have collapse.

With the amount of drone attacking on video... they need a hard kill anti drone system with a lot of resilience.

The issue is that it seems far out of reach for current hard kill tech to deal with the number and sophistication of drone spam.

The Ukrainian army has launched a new February counteroffensive in the Kursk region. This is the second counter offensive of the Ukrainian army, the first in January was previously shown. Fighting is taking place in the area of the settlements of Ulanok, Makhnovka, Konopelka. The goal of the offensive is to enter the rear of Russian troops and preserve the supply lines of the troops. There are no results yet, but there is video of drone attacks. Russian troops are using classic FPV drones and drones "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky", controlled by fiber optic cable. As reported, the drones attacked T-64 tanks, the Wisent 1 MC engineering vehicle, Cougar H armored vehicles, the M113 armored personnel carrier, and the Kozak armored vehicle and other equipment. At the moment, this is not complete data.

The Russian flag is raised on a school over the northern part of Dachnoe although the settlement hasn't been fully cleared yet. Credit goes to the 68th "Iron" Tank Regiment.
