Pretty map. If Putin could hold onto that, he would have won the war hands down, period. But I am willing to bet against it under the assumptions:

(1) Russia keeps its current troops level in Ukraine.
(2) US keeps feeding Ukraine.
(3) China does not provide military support.
Have been a couple of weeks that we didn't saw reinforcement moving to the front in Russia. Will be hard to continue like that.

Could be a scatter effect from panic ? Could be a close quarter battleground, who knows at this rate...

The AFU launched an offensive between Gulyai-Pole and Malinovskaya. As a result of the failed attack, the AFU lost 30 tanks, 11 fighting infantry vehicles, two Grad systems, two armored personnel carriers and more than 300 soldiers.
It would be interesting to see what those armour were destroyed by. We figured at the start of the war this sort of combat is exactly what Russia wanted and they will bomb armour formations in the open with air strikes or engage them head on with superior armour. However these days I don't have much confidence in RuAF's ability to do CAS.

I would guess artillery, helis, maybe ATGMs or armor. The RuAF, even at this point of the war, is noticeably absent. The Ka-52s and Mi-28s are carrying the air war.
