The PLAN LCAC Type 726 Yuyi Class

So two major shipyards are now building type 726 LCAC simultaneously, we may see large numbers being built in next few years.

For Taiwan scenario (including Penghu and Dongsha), type 726 LCAC do not even have to be launched from type 071 or 075 since they have enough range to cross the straits from Mainland shores. Type 726 is said to have more than 300km range and speed of 60 to 80 knots.

According to Chinese wikipedia, there are more than 30 type 726 in service at present.

nothing to do with range its the sea conditions, LCAC cannot sail in the same state as a LPD or LHD

Some sort of CSSC award ceremony for hard working people. The screen behind them has some interesting info:

H2616 launched on 28th of December should be a 052DL, screen said it was launched with 80% fitting out completed.
1 DQ (big destroyer?), 2D and five 726A to begin assembly on the slipway within the year
4 new ships begin construction, 2 of them 726A, rest blocked and can't see

New wave of 726A construction, should we start to get excited that the day is approaching?

How is the 80% metric look like? Faster construction pace than previous ships of the same class?

1x DQ should be 055 and 2x D should be 052D, perhaps?

It's because of this guy right here!

Should've moved his head away when taking photo, lol...

Yes, we definitely should.

I think this could be indicative of more 071s and 075s on the way, but I'm not so sure.
