The analyses are still difficult, there are few verified reports. But that doesn't matter. Analyses don't kill.
You see, and peace in Ukraine is still far away. You know, the Germans are eager to fight again, France wants to win at least once in 100 years, and the British haven't noticed that they are no longer a superpower. And Russia will never surrender. Well, that's how it is when a party under their influence cannot act freely. Oh yeah.

Have to admit, Putin don't have a propaganda army of 1.4 billion, who trust themselves are winning no matter what's real.

Also, Putin's goal, to replace Zelensky, is far less flexible than this conflict. India can end the operation because its initial goal was to bomb some random buildings (w/ or w/o terrorists), which is simple & fulfilled already. It's Paki's rapid response that make things complicated & out of control now.

Another point is when IAF can't fight PAF in the air, they can always resort to bombing the airfields PAF operates from, as evident in this conflict. Pakistan still needs to improve on air defense, more layered AD with close in defense against drones. Maybe purchasing something like 625E and short range laser systems like LW-30 to beef up defense against drones and GBAD system more optimized against BM.

Of course all that is expensive, Pakistan's economy will be the basis of all that, imo this is the real challenge for Pakistan

Ground element in Pakistan is not being ignored at all. Pakistan has been modernizing its artillery and tanks at a rapid pace for last several years. Pakistan has a massive advantage over India when it comes to self propelled artillery, and A-100 MRLS has quite significant range. Pakistan has tens of thousands of ATGMs along with many vehicle based and infantry units capable of utilizing them, along with drone dropped munitions.

Also, a huge chunk of the border is not suitable for protracted armored assaults. Much of it is heavily mountainous or has deep marshes and rice paddies.

If India grounds its entire fleet of aircraft due to losing several in one strike, they aren’t going to want to lose a hundred plus armored vehicles in the start of any war.

Like I said before, the military relations between China and Pakistan are pretty much strategic, China doesn't only sells weapons to Pakistan but also there is technology transfer between the two countries. That has allowed Pakistan to develop a Military Industrial Complex that punch WAY above the country development weight and different from other arms export countries that keep the technology in secrecy, China has less degree of secrecy with Pakistan and that allows Pakistan to use their Weapons more efficiently. For example Pakistan was the first country outside of China with access to the Military Version of China BeiDou Nav System.

Pakistan's doctrine regarding ground offensive from India is tactical nukes. So they are pretty safe from that perspective as well.

A-100 is pretty backwards at this day and age. A-300 with capability to strike 200-500km (Fire Dragon 750) at regiment level and SR5 at Battalion level. Along with the counter battery, target designation & acquisition & counter counter battery. If we are talking rocket artillery. Got to have overmatch as deterrent factor.
