Two good tweets on this subject from today.

Looks like a lot of countries want to join BRICS. To me, that means they just want to get closer to China, BRICS financing and have less dependency on the Dollar.

As for the other point, it's certainly in China's interest for Russia to use Yuan in other trades.

I didn't expect Russians to agree to do joint Northern Sea route development with China.

198 bcm of NG by 2030 would be quite significant. Would need expansion of facilities in Russian Far East, I would think

Iran has significant minorities of Azeris in its territory. So you can probably understand why they are less than pleased with the Azeris trying to change their borders with the countries around them. Armenia and Azerbaijan used to be part of Persia before the Ottoman and Russian Empires took those places from them.

Just a side thought but China needs to impove relations with Turkey. They are the only peace of the puzzle left after Iran-Saudi deal. I can't believe even Saudi Arabia are closer to China now than Turkey. To be honest I constantly read geopolitical news and there are 10 times more cooperation in various fields going on between China and Saudi Arabia, then China and Turkey in my opinion. Then there is the fact that Turkey was the only Muslim country that defies China over Xinjiang.

Turkey is in NATO. Turkey also has a well deserved reputation for being a snake and a backstabber. Nobody is going to trust them, especially China which has to fight CIA operations against Xinjiang which are helped and aided by Turkey

By "China need" you are putting the responsibility of initiative on the wrong shoulder. You should have asked "Does Turkey want to improve relationship with China? How much?"

If you are not making a mistake by the last sentence, you are basically inviting a guy who robbed you for a party.

China has more cooperation with SA precisely because SA is respectful and respectable.

Some thoughts about the GCI. It’s really beautiful.

On the surface, it sounds pretty unthreatening, get political parties together to talk about sustainable civilization. share wisdom and ideas etc, and maybe even prevent a clash of civilizations.

But what does a representative of a political party represent? He represents the people that voted for that party.

And what does a representative from each party from a country represent? They represent every single voter in that country, just about.

So what does a ‘parliament’ of representatives represent? Simply the worlds most democratic voice.

GDI is about having the stomach full and well fed.

GSI is about having strong muscles and safety

GCI (civilisation) is about controlling the mind with ideas and thinking similar to you

What's the final piece, then? The heart. Something to make someone love you from within, to make someone throw himself to the frontlines without having being promised anything in return. I assume something like GCI (Global Cultural Initiative) would fit here.

Control of the world, and China's rise and subsequent acceptance from the world will rest upon those Global X Initiative pillars
