If such are true however future clients of S-400 which does not desire Chinese components would need to add it in contract. This will of course drive the cost up for the system as Russians would need to indeginize those components.

I am sure there will be wear and tear of parts that need replacement along with components needed for excess production. but she constantly refer to Mi-171 which is export model. i havent seen S400 system that much active. so why it will need parts as compared to other systems that much more modern like Pantsir SM or S350/S500.
The earlier point i made that to introduce a new system to Russian armed forces it has to basically outperform in many criteria and this will be in addition to maintainability in field and reliability.

The head of the Kronstadt company: the Turkish Bayraktar would not have passed state tests in Russia

Now everyone is comparing our "Orion" with the Turkish "Bayraktar". But if "Bayraktar" had been created in Russia, it would not have passed state tests according to our requirements. In our "Orion" we are sure - it surpasses the Turkish colleague in many respects. We prefer not to talk about how to "catch up and overtake America," but to act. Therefore, we develop and manufacture drones and, in fact, together with our customer represented by the Ministry of Defense, we are creating a completely new aviation sub-sector. We hope that the international market will appreciate it.

They found role beyond MIG-31/R-37 combo as single seat Su-57 get more in numbers. that MIG-31K and MIG-31D. MIG-31K 25km altitude gives that longer range to missile. similar approach to space defense mission that will have to exceed performance of earlier MIG-31D prototypes.

Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG and Aviadvigatel have confirmed that work continues on “radical modernization” of the MiG-31 Foxhound, with the focus on extending the performance of the aging, out-of-production Mach 3 interceptor so that it can carry out not only air-defense duties but also serve the recently established VKO, the Russian acronym for the country's Air and Space Defense (Command). Under a directive from the Russian defense ministry, RAC MiG is working on new versions of the aircraft more capable than the current MiG-31BM.

The 79M6 missile with a mass of 4550 kg took off from under the MiG-31D flying at a speed of Ma = 2.55 at an altitude of 22 km and continued to the target at an altitude of 120 to 600 km, depending on the distance. The flight time of the rocket was from 100 to 380 s. The satellite was destroyed by a direct hit or with a 20 kg explosive charge. The target of the MiG-31 was indicated by the 45Ż6 Krona ground system consisting of a decimeter and centimeter radar with electronic scanning and an optical-laser locator and rangefinder; information was transmitted on board the aircraft via the 46I6 radio link.

Personnel training Russian FPV drone operators in Ukraine. Recently, FPV drones have become very popular and are increasingly being used by the armies of Russia and Ukraine. The drone is small enough that it is difficult for air defense systems to notice and intercept it. The FPV drone is able to fly into buildings and maneuver there at high speed, it can also carry out reconnaissance at close range and direct artillery. The main difference from large drones and UAVs is that the operator controls the copter in the first person with glasses, which increases the accuracy of the strike. Depending on the model, the combat load of an FPV drone can be up to 1 kg. But the most effective load is 400 g of TNT. In battles in Ukraine, VOG-17, VOG-25 and other lightweight ammunition are used to defeat the enemy.

The Russian calculation of the mobile 82-mm mortar 2B9 "Vasilek" spoke about his combat work in Ukraine. The Russian mortar 2B9 "Vasilek" was put into service in 1970 and a few years later was upgraded to the 2B9M version, the water cooling of the barrel was replaced with air, since the mortar's excessive rate of fire, and it could reach 300 rounds per minute, was not needed. After modernization, the rate of fire of the mortar was up to 120 rounds per minute. The mortar proved itself well and was actively used in Afghanistan and Chechnya, where it was installed on different chassis. The mortar was copied by China and is produced as Type-99, and China has already produced more of these mortars than Russia. The mortar is fired with mines in cassettes of 4 pieces, at a distance of up to 4200 meters, the calculation of the mortar is 4 people.

Shooting of the frigate "Admiral Gorshkov" project 22350, gun A-192M. The Russian frigate "Admiral Gorshkov" of project 22350 of the Northern Fleet, in the course of carrying out long-range missions in the southern part of the Atlantic Ocean, conducted training artillery firing at a sea target. The exercises were carried out in preparation for a joint naval exercise with the South African Navy and the Chinese Navy. Shooting was carried out from a 130-mm AK-192M universal naval artillery mount at a sea target at a distance of more than 10 kilometers. The AK-192M artillery mount was created on the basis of the Soviet AK-130, by replacing two barrels with one, which led to a decrease in its weight. Lightening the weight of the A-192M made it possible to use the artillery mount on ships with a small displacement. The firing range of the gun is up to 23 km, the combat crew is 3 people, the rate of fire is up to 30 rounds per minute.
