On August 5, the first flight of the next production aircraft Il-96-300, built at the Voronezh Aviation Plant - VASO (part of the Transport Aviation Division of PJSC UAC of the State Corporation Rostec) took place. The aircraft undergoes a cycle of factory tests for subsequent transfer to the customer. This is already the second production aircraft that began its flight program this year.
The new aircraft is equipped with the most modern systems and equipment that meet European and international standards. In particular, the aircraft is equipped with a modernized flight and navigation system.
The load of the Voronezh aircraft plant today is clear for the period up to 2030, and it is assumed that it will increase from year to year. The Il-96 program ensures the loading of VASO as one of the city-forming enterprises of the Voronezh region, - said the managing director of VASO Farit Sharafeev

it is irrelevant how much Ukraine current value of exports.
In the absence of Ukrainian exports much more expensive North American or French grains will need to be imported and importing nations will have to jackup the prices of there energy and mineral exports to pay for more expensive food.
global warming will make that ukraine more attractive especially if it interconnected to Russian/Belrussia water and fertilizer system.
I usually stop to discuss at this point, but after watching the classic, 70s James Bond movies over the weekend I realised where the typical Bond villain plan and thinking come : D I was allways amazed by the stupidity of the plans of them , entertraining, but stupid.

So, you say that Russia will ocupy with military force Ukraine, to get control of the grain production, and (if they want to integrate Ukraine) take on a 10-30 billion $ /years burden, to be able to shut down the ukrainan agriculture, decrease the income of the new ukraine-russian country by further 4 billion / year?

This is better then Dr NO plan to make an island , nuclear reactor and undersea base to run an radio transmitter usually fit into a typical garden shed : D

I mean, not easier to buy the whole Ukrainan production for 4 billion, and dump it into the sea ? Way cheaper for Russia than to waste five times more money and time onto Ukraine. Of course, this still doesn't make sense, but if the villian plan is this, then let give it to him : D

America’s Ukraine Policy Is All About Russia

Ukraine’s continued existence as an independent state is a well-established part of the national security agenda of the United States. The reasons for this have nothing to do with Ukraine per se, but rather, as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton candidly explained back in 2012, it is to prevent the reconstitution of the former Soviet Union. Since the annexation of Crimea in 2014, this objective has been further refined into transforming Ukraine into a permanent bulwark against Russian expansion.

Good for China. Continued Russian enmity with NATO takes pressure off China. I give my thanks to Putin for that.

I think the tension in the east Ukraine has something to do with the Nord Stream II. Germany has suspended the certification, the US wishes it "dead in the water", Putin is mad.

Putin wouldn't lay a thousand km pipes in the Baltic without an agreement with Germany, if the Germans breach the agreement under whatever excuses, there will be consequences.

The whole Asia and India should thank Russia. if the First Cold war didnot happened. West would not have needed so much Asian immigration and out sourcing.
If Europeans pay same prices as Asia for energy. Europe factories will simply not sustained. it is Russia that is helping Asia attracting investments. Vietnames leader was very happy to meet Putin and they understand this point.

Biden is going to call Putin to warn him the consequences of invading Ukraine. will Putin do it? will he take all the Ukraine to the east of Dniper? still a bit hard to believe.

Sequence of events :
1. Hungary start to receive gas from Serbia from the 1st of October 2021. It means a close collapse of the Ukrainan gas delivery system, up to that date they made a virtual west import, buying gas in the EU market, leave it in Hungary, and use the Gasprom gas designated to Hungary for they need. Not possible any more, system not capable to do real gas import
2. Gas price exploded in 2021, up to that date they bought cheap gas import from west - Gazprom stoped to use the spot market to sell its surpluss gas, most likelly they started to shift the export to eastwards/ LNG. Whole industry / Agriculture in danger zone, gas price went from 100-200 to 1000 $
3. The 2019 new transit deal made the first, 2020 payment and transfer volume more than 50% higher than the 2021-2024 ones . Means Ukraine getting 40% less money for transit than in 2019
5. Covid

1-5 made the whole financial / energy state of Ukraine very sorry. Most likelly they started millitary force concentration adound DOnbas, and started military actions as well. The Russian moves could be answer for it - but we can't get any infor about the other side from the USA military controller newssources.

Ukraine desperatedly needs a Russian invasion, in absence of that there is no way to get any money from the west, to patch the growing number of holes.

It is still a bit early, and might end up being just a bunch of hot air. The Russians were able to take advantage of the chaos after the Ukrainian coup to grab whatever land they wanted. Because the Russian government had done a poll on Ukrainians asking if they wanted Russian citizenship several years prior, they knew they would only get a majority of the vote in Crimea. That is why they annexed Crimea and left the rest of Ukraine as is. Everyone in the Donbass who wanted a Russian passport was able to get one. It would be cheaper to relocate those people inside Russia than take on the dead weight that is the Ukrainian economy.
