Anyway, turns out the fever is due to the ulcers I have on the back of my throat (tonsils), and there are quite a few of them. Between these ulcers and the swollen/extra sensitive gum, eating has become very painful. But never fear, there's always a congee joint near you in toronto. The strep test turned out negative, but the doctor couldn't say exactly what it is until I do a mononucleosis test tomorrow.

And of course he gave me some antibiotics... why not, right? >_>

How much is gas where you live?.. in the USA I realize that our fuel is cheaper than most of the World.

On Monday May 13th gas was $3.65 a gallon for unleaded plus which is a 10% ethanol blend...By Friday it had skyrocketed to $3.94 a gallon. By the way in Iowa regular unleaded is .10 cents a gallon extra. The reason behind this is an refinery shut down in the Chicago area. Oil companies = Robbers.. any excuse to make a buck.

1 liter of gasoline cost €1,507 x 1,285 (conversion to USD) x 3,785 (conversion to gallon) = $7,33 per gallon.

Gas in Toronto is somewhere between $1.20 to $1.30 per litre, not sure how mich that is converted to the American system. Last summer gas in Vancouver was up to $1.50 per litre.

In Houston gas prices is $3.39 per gallon
