why don't you rig up a plastic or stain less steel guard/ring meter or so high around the perimeter of the tree trunk to prevent the critter from climbing up the tree?

Yes, that's what I've been thinking about. I'm not sure if plastic would be strong enough against raccoons, but that's what I've been thinking about. Just haven't figured out how to go about it yet.

Oh well, I guess I have a year to figure it out. :)

Or just shoot one of them dead and the others will watch and scampered scare and will never came back again.;)

Unfortunately, the law here is just stupid...

So you're technically allowed to capture them, but releasing them anywhere is discouraged. Instead, they expect you to take it to a vet for euthanasia, but no vet would actually take them.

If you try killing them in some other manner, you would be committing a crime.

Honestly, WTF???
Buy a boat and release it in the middle of the lake... Although I'm sure they can swim, I doubt they can swim across lake Ontario.

If it's a young tree you could try using a piece of plastic rainwater downpipe or stormwater pipe that's made out of some plastiky stuff. Cut a section out to allow the tree trunk to slip in and then patch up the gap created with the cut piece with sealant glue.

What sort of peach is it?

That's great! I didn't know they put out Ford class kits already! Where did u get them from?
@FORBIN @Air Force Brat @Equation @bd popeye @vesicles @Obi Wan Russell @Blackstone @Bernard

They don't.

I am going to take the Trumpeter kit of the Nimitz and completely redo the aft end, the flight dek and the island and make a Ford out of it...including the bulbous bow.

But I already did a redo job on one of them with the island and the bulbous bow to make my Reagan, so I think I will be able to do it.

Mt friend who is doing the Grumman 3-D 1/350 scale aircraft got some drawings I made for him from the pictures that have been out. He needed a good 3 view (with an isometric) so I put some of the old design skills back to use and came up with it for him.

Here's what he has come up with:

002 (1).jpg 001.jpg

I may go ahead and get a dozen of those as well.

The 3D printing world has gone crazy. If you can get a good model of almost anything, they can print it.

So I gave him the dims (42 1/2 foot wing span and 53 feet ong, and with the to scale drawing he was able to build that 3-D model.

It's good to have friends both at Grumman and Boeing and then also have friends who have that equipment. If I was younger and not terminal with cancer I would invest in a 3D printer of some quality and just build about any parts I needed myself.! LOL!

Anyhow, they turned out well an now I am going to have a really good, futuristic air-wing for my Enterprise.

To tell you the truth...I an't wait. I will now buy the carrier kit, the aftermarket photo etch railing and what not, and get all the paints an other parts together and start on it.

BTW, the guy who made the new 6th gen above for me, is the same guy I get the F-35Cs frm (he has both the Alpha and Bravo as well). He also has GREAT 1/350 scale models of the J-15, J-31, and J-20 for anyone wanting to spruce up a Chinese carrier.

He has some other great 1/350 scale models of the B-2, B-1B, C-17, B-52H, C-5, Eurofighter, the new Grippen, PAKFA, and about every modern aircraft you can imagine.

Your very very courageous and again prayers for you Mon Ami :)

But one idea for a futur CAW if exist in 1/350 a MQ-25 or use a X-47 o_O

Esthetically the futur CAW with 2 new types F-35C + MQ-25 will to be much more interesting nice than actual with Super Hornets/Growlers ofc almost identicals to Hornet a CAW " less fun " with the futur we will find the diversity of CAW as we have see and enjoy :) up to retirements of A-6, S-3 and F-14.

Be not judges of others, and you will not be judged.

Matthew 7:2
For as you have been judging, so you will be judged, and with your measure will it be measured to you.

Matthew 7:3
And why do you take note of the grain of dust in your brother's eye, but take no note of the bit of wood which is in your eye?

Matthew 7:4
Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take out the grain of dust from your eye, when you yourself have a bit of wood in your eye?

Matthew 7:5
You false one, first take out the bit of wood from your eye, then will you see clearly to take out the grain of dust from your brother's eye.

AMEN
