The first domestic zubr was launched last year AFAIK.

Since china now owns 7 of them, plus another under construction, i really doubt that they will build further. The issue is if they will develop a new large hovercraft in the future, since this is 1980´s technology.

Greece sold its zubr fleet to china.

Wrong Greece never sold their Zubr fleet to China it is BS

Greece being a NATI country has not and cannot sell it''s ZUBR to China. I thought you ask earlier if China had built any ZUBR after the four delivered but you seem to know a lot more then you are revealing. A loaded question perhaps

I think they sold two...not all four. Otherwise china would have six now, because they built two of their own.

The first domestic Zubr was launched three months ago after a couple of years of dormancy. They were waiting for domestic gas turbines after Ukraine got rekt by Russia. Now that domestic turbine manufacturing has been solved, there should be no bottleneck to Zubr production if the PLAN deems it necessary to procure more of them.

Another one is under construction at HP, not yet launched IIRC.
That confirms it then...they are going to keep building them.

I have to believe there will be at least six now...if not more.

No the first 2 are built in Ukraine then China built 2 on their own
So only 4 are in operation or being prep for operation

Yes...I know two were built in the Ukraine and two in China. I also had heard that Greece might sell two to the Chinese...but did not know if that was so.

...but there appears now to be another Chinese built one (shown above) that I am told is not one of the four. That would mean a fifth.

if that is so (and it may not be), then I would expect the LAN to have a total of six.

We shall see.

They sold none. All four Zubrs are still at Salamis Naval Base.

Thanks for that pic.

That is why I said, "I tjink", which means I was not sure at all.

We know China built two and that the Ukraine built two. Any deal for Greek Zubrs...if there ever was one...has not occurred as yet, or was in the works.

I do not believe Greece is using all four of theirs in any case.

But, if the picture shown above is indeed a fifth one (meaning a 3rd built by China), then China would now have five, and will probably build more if that is so.

I would not see why they wouldn't. They are a good vssels for them, particularly for the SCS IMHO.
