Forget about Singapore. They are bananas. They may look yellow on the outside, but they are white inside. They also have significant Indian representation in their government. Very doubtful that they will want to be any part of a Han Chinese 5 eyes club.

As for Taiwan, I have serious doubts on the feasibility of any US/Canada arrangement or 10,000 year blood brother formal alliance. The reunification of the motherland is burnt into the psyche of all Han Chinese. 100 years of humiliation has to be avenged. Taiwan will be reunified with the motherland, peacefully or otherwise.
Singapore which currently hosts US bases, does training exercises with the US, and is becoming more not less westernized will not be in a formal military alliance with China in the foreseeable future.

When Taiwan is liberated, China is by far the largest economy in the world, and the balance of power in Asia has completely shifted in China's favor, then we can have our own Han 2 eyes club.

I am not in support of war but there is nothing wrong for China to preserve its territorial integrity. Frankly with 1.4 billion people, China must be able to reunify Taiwan militarily as last resort when all peaceful means exhausted. If war is to happen, China must be well prepared for all scenarios. It should be very quick n decisive

38th Han Kuang Exercise, I was wondering what will happen given the current big outbreak and well:

So because the previous exercises with Joint Theater Level Simulation required a lot of people in close space to run, this year the format has been changed. There won't be any computer simulations or any specs or parameters or even winner and loser, instead they're just going to... stand around a big sand table and talk it out? It's all very strange.

Basically even less value for this thread here than previous years. Maybe they should just run a game of 40k on their big table instead.

Military sources said that the concept of the theatre command promoted by Defense Minister Qiu Guozheng has been officially finalized, and will be put into the exercise on this time. Military officials said that the Russian-Ukrainian war has brought more inspiration to the Army, especially field air defense, which has always been an important item for the Army to build an army. Our theatre commander all come from the army, could take this opportunity to thoroughly discuss tactics and tactics to gain operational consensus and unify the concept of using troops, and establish a system of theatre command.
I had to modify the google translate result a bit since some phrase wasn't translated correctly. Sounds to me like they are talking about having the theatre commander discuss air defence. Having all the theatre commander come from the army seems like a bad idea since they are suppose to be focused on joint operation instead of focusing on doing army stuff.

My understanding of having five theater command is so that if the command structure is decapitated at the highest level (eg Heng Shan Military Command Center gets destroyed by a bunker busting ballistic missile during the opening moments of the war) then theater commands can continue to fight on on their own.

So what do they do when the 5 theater commands get wiped out shortly after? They have lower level commands that can function properly?

I was last in Singapore one month ago. Singapore is definitely very pro Chinese people. About 15% of the population are from mainland. Another very large portion of population are Chinese expats for Malaysia and other other asean countries. This trend will only continue in the future since Singapore will have to continue to import Chinese people in order to keep the han majority. On top of that, all the schools teach Chinese. It's a fundamental part of Singapore culture.

Singapore has one of the lowest surveyed approval rate for America. So yeah, the only people that are pro western are the military and that's only because America offers them weapons. Once china has more advanced weapons, it can start offering that to Singapore. We will see which side Singapore military picks.

Why is America doing this? If you want to war game fine, but do it in private. Why invite cameras and announce it to the world?
They seem to be intent on provoking China in any way they can. Is this how they show they are tough on China?
Freedom of speech bro. Just because they can say anything doesn't mean you have to take it seriously, there is also freedom to call them out as retarded and freedom to ignore them entirely.
