Kindly don't labelled Kashmiri people struggle for freedom (since 7 decades - lost several thousand lives) by quoting Kashmiri militants.

I don't want to drag the thread or otherwise can show you the austerities of Indian Army....

PS: since its quoted by Indian sources, so can't trust .....
I just use the term "militants" to mean people that use non peaceful way in their struggle, not necessarily in bad connotation. I just think it's more politically neutral than "terrorists" or "freedom fighters". Sorry if I offended you.

Sorry if I offended you.

It's not for me...... it's a matter of humanity ....

The core is no one can labelled people struggle of freedom without knowing the ground reality through neutral sources which is on the cost several thousand innocent lives ....

Just put yourself in the shoes of the families who lost their loved ones through the austerities of Indian Army....

I appreciate spend some time on Kashmir struggle....

I just think it's more politically neutral than "terrorists" or "freedom fighters".

I am just talking of humanity (regardless of race/religion/ethnicity or political).... Word militant is in the league of same Terrorist word.

What kind of marksman rifles/sniper rifles are used at the platoon and company levels? I know the QBU-88, QBU-10 and the CS/LR4 exist but I'm wondering how they are used and distributed. It seems that the PLA has really taken a liking to the 50 cal rifles and seems to be deploying the QBU-10 more than other nations would.

Rather out of date but did the PLA use Dragunov's ever?
Also what is the main anti-material rifle in use?
The 12.7 mm DShk (or "Dushka")
Is there a replacement for this vintage
heavy machine gun?
The Russians are using Kords would that be an exact replacement for the DShk?

nothing strange that someone brought one over the border

My dear, Indians fenced LoC and its heavily guarded (you can get lot of info on net) .... hence it's almost impossible to crossover .....

In nut shell it's just the propaganda which they (Indians) are constantly using to sabotage the freedom movement or term it a militant/terrorist movement, like one member quoted above.

Who knows the weapons they showed to media, from where they go it.

Hip shooting
Could be useful when encountering enemy at close range and you don't have time to aim?
