Depends on how long they want to wait. Worst case, they could wait for that indigenous Turkish turboshaft to qualify for the T129 (I think it's suitable for the T129, right?)
With modifications, yes but by the time the TS1400 engine is ready to be used on the T129, 30 Z-10ME's could've already entered service with Pakistan.

As of the latest news, no order has been given to work on a attack helicopter variant of the TS1400 engine.

Z-10ME has all the things PAF needs so if I were them, I wouldn't wait for the T129.

But time will tell.

The 3rd ship of the Babur class, PNS Khaibar is currently under construction in Istanbul, and two more ships, PNS Badr and Tariq are being constructed in Karachi. PNS Badr (2nd ship) is expected to be launched in mid-summer 2022.

The picture is of PNS Badr (2nd ship) currently under construction in Karachi (Picture is a few months old).

PNS Khaibar (3rd ship) is currently under construction in Istanbul.

AVIC Completes Training for Pakistan Air Force Ground Service

China Aviation News: Recently, a 9-member teaching team composed of senior lecturers and interpreters from various departments of Aero Aerospace, involving ejection seats, power products, life parachutes, integrated security equipment, electronic products and other specialties, departed for Chengdu to conduct a week-long training on an export model seat and its supporting life-saving products for the ground crew of Pakistan Air Force.

As the training content involves a number of professional products, after receiving the training task, in order to ensure the smooth development of the training work, for the Pakistan Air Force personnel diligent learning characteristics, aviation immediately set up a composite training team, and in the shortest possible time to complete the production of English and Chinese training materials, reached a consensus on teaching.

After arriving in Chengdu, the teaching team took a short time to reorganize and then started the intensive teaching work. The ejection seat is the most complex and critical life-saving equipment, the last barrier to protect the pilot's life, and was the first to appear as the "highlight" of the training. At the beginning of the training, the Pakistani ground crew showed a strong desire to learn and explore, constantly asking questions from all angles and extending them to other supporting products from time to time. The instructors worked together and cooperated with each other, supported by their solid technical skills, excellent professional quality as the background, and faithful bilingual translation as the bridge, and answered the doubts of the Pakistani ground crew seriously, meticulously and patiently, which won the unanimous praise of the participants.

The training lasted one week and involved 7 products, which was a difficult task. With the full cooperation of the company's teaching team, the training was successfully completed.
