The possibility for more falcons is still there - but the chances are slim.

Keep in mind that Pakistan's military acquisitions normally don't fare well under democrat presidencies and that should give a good hint on how things will unfold in the near future.

There is no possibility of more falcons for Pakistan. Given the state of China-US relations and the desire for India to be on the US' side, they would definitely not sell more F-16s to Pakistan. Selling them F-16s would be a huge slap in the face to India and would likely push away India from a potential alliance.

>> ATR-72 MPA ASW Aircraft is also known as the RAS-72 Sea Eagle . . . .

The RAS-72 Sea Eagle is configured with the Leonardo Seaspray 7300E active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, FLIR Systems’ Star SAFIRE III electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) turret, and Elettronica’s electronic support measures (ESM) suite.
Tying these systems together is Aerodata AG’s AeroMission mission management suite. AeroMission has a sensor fusion algorithm, which offers the RAS-72 crew with situational awareness across multiple areas.

The RAS-72 is also capable of anti-submarine warfare (ASW), it can deploy lightweight ASW torpedoes.

Coming back to J-10C and Pakistan Air Force, I have always believed that Pakistan should work closely with China on the specifications of the J-10Cs, customized for Pakistan Air Force. The latter's fighting style is uniquely different from other air forces, based on environment, the opponent, the geographic location and independence decision making of fighting tactics.

J-10C is, in my opinion, an ideal combat aircraft that has the ability to off-set any set backs Pakistan could potentially face when (not if) america imposes it's habitually predictable "sanctions" on Pakistan. For if Pakistan's leadership tends to forget history, I would direct their attention toward what happened to Turkey, when they decided to buy S-400 ADS. Having spent billions of dollars, partnering in the so-called Joint Strike Fighter program. Today Turkey, a NATO member state, has been expelled from the program and deliveries of the F-35s, ground to a complete halt.

Pakistan ought to invest in J-10Cs, with an attempt to bolster it's fighter fleet with two types of fighters with AESA capabilities. Further developments to "Juice Up" the J-10Cs would benefit Pakistan tremendously, even though China doesn't require such upgrades to J-10Cs, since it has a vast array of fighters in its arsenal, like the J-20s, J-16s, Su-35s and J-11BGs.

For me, the procurement of J-10Cs would only make sense if Pakistan goes for at least 4-5 squadrons of the fighter type, with MRO infrastructure, as well as a deal with Russia and China for the fighter's engine maintenance and overhaul, done in Pakistan.

Over the past few years, better sense in Pakistan's leadership has prevailed and attempts to bolster strategic relations with Russia are being made. It is necessary that Pakistan forges strong ties with Russia, and it's already powerful relationship with China, to bring all three countries to co-develop, not just fighter programs, but also other areas of strategic military weapons and support industries. A triangular alliance between Pakistan, China and Russia is destined to grow stronger, bring these three great nations together and empower their economies, as well as their military power.

F-16 was on offer in the tenure of previous Air Chief of Pakistan Air Force Sohail Aman and PAF was given 25 days to consider the offer before officially concluding the contract but was rejected by CAS Sohail Aman himself and he even refuse to consider the offer for 25 sec as political conditions were highly unfavourable [NOTE: these were the words spoken by CAS Sohail Aman in an event in Kuwait so these are not my words nor wrongly translated by me]

Now the rumor/hearsay I came across [as I do not have valid source to back this up, so it may be a false rumour] F-16s were again offered to Pakistan in second or third quarter of 2018 but the current Air Chief and his team appear cold shoulder as far as purchase of new F-16s are concern.

Third and the last thing is that F-16 from US perspective in PAF fleet is not just a Defence Article but a Political tool to influence Pakistan in multiple domains, therefore US will use it again as Dangling Carrot for political dealings with Pakistan.
