Jura you seem to enjoy being a difficult busybody. If you were trying to add some value by criticising the idea, you don't seem to be able to express it effectively. If you'd like to carry on, why not just ignore the post/s rather than reporting every little thing that happens to annoy you despite it not breaking any rules.

On the topic of this plasma propulsion idea, it seems to be making the rounds on google's suggested news today. Noticed it recently from multiple sources. Funny how something seemingly in concept stages can be brought so much attention all of a sudden. I suspect because the topic involves China and a Wuhan (keyword) institution.

Here is Michalis Kalogerakis, a Greek Brainiac who is researching independently and DIY , hydrogen production by water electrolysis. Video has English subs.

Pretty long video and flicking through random parts it doesn't seem to suggest energy cost. Electrolysis to separate oxygen and hydrogen has never been worth the squeeze. If this guy truly has some new groundbreaking methods, he'd be an overnight millionaire with investors beating down his door. Many claims from inventor guys about all sorts of physics breaking stuff in the past.

Few months ago, I think what the future headlines in US will be like in say 2028....they will probably be something like :

The Chinese Regime is abusing its huge tech market by unfairly locking out US semiconductor players..
The Chinese Should Adhere by Free Market rule and let US Chips In
Chinese Chip Makers Are growing at the expense of US' players.
China must open up her semiconductor market

All while conveniently forgetting that the US admin banned US started selective chip export bans in 2018.

hahahh, great. I think you forgot something ... change "Chinese Regime" with "Chinese Communist Regime" o_O

To moderator;

The development of the Helicarrier is in the realm of possibilities with the developing electromagnetic engine since the limit of any vehicle is the amount of energy it can carry.
With the new engine, the amount of fuel is virtually limitless with a nuclear reactor generating the electricity to power the engines.
It will not be as big as the picture that I had posted since that it is the only representation of such vehicle but it could be as big as a mini carrier with a short runway since it would already be flying faster than 230Km/h.

Unfortunately it seems as if Jura can't really see the potential (big picture) this development holds.

why would you need a "protection" of a moderator .... just reply his posts that you don't agree ... we all here are adults

plasma jet device was able to lift a one-kilogram steel ball over a 24-millimeter diameter quartz cube, which is where the high-pressure air is transformed into a plasma jet thanks to passing through a microwave ionization chamber. To keep things in scale, this corresponds to the thrusting pressure comparable to a commercial plane jet engine."

Lifting 1 kilogram at 200 watts or 1000 watts?

At 1000 watts, it would be too energy inefficient.

Need to know how long it took to displace ball 24mm. But 1KW is a lot of power for lifting 1Kg a measly 24mm.
