The "Ultra-Carbon No. 1" sintering-waste-heat project in Guizhou uses steel sintering off-gas that already contains 14–18 % CO₂. The system compresses this entire exhaust stream back into its closed loop and publicly claims an "annual CO₂ reduction of 128 500 t." In reality, it simply captures the gas that would have been vented and re-uses it within the cycle; the CO₂ is not destroyed.
Wasnt it like "reduction equivalent"? Like if they use non recycled sources?

凯盛新材/Shandong Kaisheng New Materials is China's only major PEKK producer. 40% cheaper than imports and has 50% margins in PEKK business through vertical integration. 2025 production capacity is 1000t/yr & production is around 500t, 30-40% for military aerospace. Used in satellites, rockets and especially LEO constellation product. Expecting production capacity to increase to 2000t/yr by 2026 and 3000t/yr by 2028. Will develop PEKK composites, 3D printing material.

抚顺特钢/Fushun Steel started China's first smart superalloy plate production line. It produced a GH4169 billet through 4-roll reversible hot rolling mill. Can output 8000t of high quality special steel plate. Its GH4169 has thickness tolerance of 0.38mm (vs national standard of 0.55 mm). This line can produce full range of alloys including superalloys, corrosion-resistant alloys, Ti Alloys and ultra high strength steel for aerospace, shipbuilding, auto and machinery manufacturing.

抚顺特钢/Fushun Steel suppliers the special high performance superalloy material GH3535 (equivalent to Hastelloy N/UNS N10003) forChina's TMSR-LF1 2 MWt thorium reactor project. Development started with CAS in 2011 and it took a decade for Fushun to deliver the GH3535 that achieved impressive performance in TMSR-SFO simulation reactor and then in TMSR-LF1 experimental reactor.
