Huang said the company has developed a two-way BCI technology with 65,000 channels, while foreign counterparts only boast such technologies with 3,000 channels in one-way.

"Such technology will give (people with) prosthetics a real sense of touch and provide possibilities for treating neurological diseases such as epilepsy, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and depression. In the future, it may help users to control external devices like computers,"he added.

Huang said, "As a high-tech enterprise, we must continue to develop more cutting-edge technologies to make 'dreams come true.' We will contribute to the construction of new quality productive forces with more technological innovations."

Is Korea really making progress in this?

Doosan has been contract manufacturing hwavy gas turbine hot parts for GE. It's a giant mistake to think SK as just another Taiwan. They leave Taiwan in the dust on everything except semiconductor. Although to be fair even H class gas turbines operate at much lower temperatures than modern jet engines.

China's problems with industrial/power gas turbine came from in 1) lack of demand and investment - natural gas is just not that important in China's energy mix and 2) Too many competing companies that don't work together. Chinese aero engine industry, marine turbine industry and traditional power generator industry all had their own power gas turbine project. Chinese marine gas turbine industry would rather buy a German gas turbine company and had their balls clutched by the German government than working with the Chinese aero engine industry, for example.

oh please, not again. first in ''Engine Thread'' now same outdated shit on this thread..

you said.. 1) lack of investment.

you know how much money Chinese institutes/firms have spend in past decade just to breakthrough the deadlock in heavy duty gas turbine, alone Dongfeng Electric spend 50+ Billion RMB in research. Harbin and Shanghai electric did invest Billions of RMB in gas turbine related technologies..

second point.. 2) Too many competing companies that don't work together

this is again completely wrong. if you read ''300mw gas turbine'' news. you might not write this.

''the 300-MW F-class heavy-duty gas turbine that went offline this time was developed by more than 200 companies, scientific research institutes, universities, etc. from 19 provinces and cities including Beijing, Liaoning, Shanghai, and Jiangsu''
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is AGT-110 heavy duty gas turbine developed by Chinese aero engine companies. collective effort

This is 50mw F class heavy duty gas turbine developed by Dongfang Electric Corporation. it took 13 years..
China's first domestic F-class gas turbine enters commercial use - YouTube

this is 300mw F class heavy duty gas turbine developed by ''Shanghai Electric'' in collaboration with 200+ different Chinese companies.. recently rolled off from the production line

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

now you see different heavy duty gas turbine projects undertaken by different Chinese companies and all were successful. and all projects were the collective effort..

so what you said is completely outdated and misinformation.. its your own perception and have nothing to do with Chinese gas turbine industry..
