It’s both hilarious and sad how so many of these Chinese “professors” seem to be completely oblivious to US history & how they treated not just foreign nationals, but US citizens, of Asian descent.

Samsung Electronics has seen a decline in its market share in the CMOS image sensor (CIS) market, largely due to Chinese smartphone manufacturers increasingly adopting domestically produced CIS components. According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, Samsung's CIS market share ranking fell from second place to fourth in terms of shipment volume last year.
During the same period, GalaxyCore increased its shipments by 32%, rising from fourth to second place. OmniVision expanded its shipments by 14%, maintaining its third-place position. Sony saw a slight increase in shipments and retained its lead at number one.
Note - soon Sony will be in trouble due to Huawei & SmartSens.

An update from me on carbon fiber production. The import/export difference continues to narrow. And the domestic quality and demand continues to go up. Jilin Fiber recently raised prices almost across the board due to exploding demand in low altitude economy and export market. Demand is high for carbon fiber as the production capacity continue to rise.
Jilin Fiber also got into CF composite material with 12000 ton project here. Chinese carbon fiber companies are getting more advanced areas, but they still tend to dominate more in the T300 product line area, which China has effectively commoditized at this point.
Xiaomi is doing great in Q1, up 47% YoY. with auto division a huge part of that.
It plans to spend 200B RMB on chip design R&D over the next 5 years! huge investment going forward
