Mostly Latinos looking for affordable, quality vehicles. Can’t really blame BYD for the market share loss when traditional U.S. automakers focus exclusively on the 50K and above market.Who are the buyers? Are they mostly Asians?

It’s happening.Best way forward is for US automakers to start prepping now and slowly Ship of Theseus their vehicles with Chinese parts before their retarded officials realize what’s happening. It shouldn’t be too difficult since Ford and GM have Chinese spin offs in China that have already incorporated much Chinese tech into offerings exclusive for the Chinese market.
Just like Nvidia, Americans spend so much time thinking about if they should allow Chinese cars into the US, they never bothered asking if China will allow Chinese cars into the US or allow Chinese auto companies to invest in the US.
If you want to get technical about it many cars in El Paso and Laredo are already Mexican BYDs…
BYD has said its “flash-charging” technology will remove the “final barrier” for consumers to switch to electric vehicles, allowing it to woo more customers in China and Europe away from the internal combustion engine.
Why are commercials vehicles still so largely largely dominated by ICE compared to passenger vehicles which is increasingly being dominated by EVs? Any reason for such a large difference ?
my latest on April sales figures. ICE have just fallen off a cliff, thankfully. NEVs have recovered. The export of NEVs are just surging right now.
reliability, fixability, and range. EV's still lose a lot of range for towing. Why are commercials vehicles still so largely largely dominated by ICE compared to passenger vehicles which is increasingly being dominated by EVs? Any reason for such a large difference ?
I'm thinking because trucks and buses have higher power and range requirements. Home use application for anything is easier than heavy duty industrial/commercial use.Why are commercials vehicles still so largely largely dominated by ICE compared to passenger vehicles which is increasingly being dominated by EVs? City busses however are rapidly becoming electrified due to their terrible fuel economy from stop and go driving. They usually fit in fine in a fleet and reduce costs significantly, especially in times like these where diesel is very expensive.I'm thinking because trucks and buses have higher power and range requirements.
