What’s the point here? It’s all good if a foreign film maker say kind words about Chinese auto industry? If they are good sales would be good ,let data tell the story, if it’s not that good , this video wouldn’t change a thing.
It’s the Japanese invented this kind of propaganda, aim at retards and poison the whole society and they are doing this in China now, nothing surprising here, they have been the cancer of Asia for quite some time.
Unsurprisingly many of my fellow Chinese fall for this and just to make it clear : I despise you all

Alright for the 3rd week of September, the BYD sales finally came up high to almost 45k. So, they've probably 135k in sales. They probably need another 45k license plate registration in this final 5 days to get over 200k production this month. Keep in mind, there are some commercial vehicles, export sales and time lapse between sales and registration. But anyhow, here are the numbers. Those btw are actually pretty high registration numbers for Tesla. Notice how xpeng/nio/li auto are all below 3k?

I am so not shocked by this news. Tesla has too much capacity at Shanghai giga right now. Not enough demand. How the mighty have fallen.

Good news for Chinese chip industry. I already saw Chery listed as one of Horizon Robotics partners on their website.

The most important parts here
it has closed a strategic investment from Chery, which will be used primarily for the development and mass production of in-vehicle smart chips. Chery's new high-end smart electric vehicle (EV) platform, the E0X, will use Horizon Robotics' Journey 3 chip as the computing cornerstone, according to the chipmaker. The two parties are also building models with advanced driver assistance system capabilities based on the Journey 2 chip, which will be launched within this year, according to Horizon Robotics.
It's important that not only Chery is investing but also putting the chips into the cars. If you look at the numbers, Chery actually is probably the 2nd biggest domestic own-branded automaker after BYD right now. They sell a lot of cars. They've decided to now use Journey chips in many models.

Another of BYD's advantage is that it has many plants around China, so it is the "local automaker" for many part of China. This type of loyalty will only grow as BYD continues to add more plants.

probably the area that welcomes Chinese EVs the most are the ASEAN countries. They actually want Chinese automakers to build cars in their country.
