Which minorities are attacking Asians? Oh the ones that happen to worship the same God that white supremacists worship... It's no coincidence. When there was racial tension between blacks and Koreans in the US in the 1990s, I saw a black person on TV accuse Asians of being racist because they don't smile. I didn't know not smiling was a crime. Did an Asian not smiling somehow affect their lives in a negative way? No. Did the white controlled media bother to counter how is not smiling a racist crime? No, they let it out there as if it was a legitimate complaint. The West complains about human rights violations around the world but somehow hating Asians for not smiling is legitimate. If white people were being accuse of being racist for not smiling, they would be ridiculing that absurdity just like they do today at any accusation of racism at them. They don't say that for Asians because they want minorities to be angry at Asians for not smiling hence why they didn't challenge it like a good journalist would. Why do blacks and Latinos hate Asians? Did Asians enslave them like white people did. Did Asians occupy their lands, oppress the people, and took and stole their resources like white people did? No. Did naturally weak little Asian they laugh at as not being masculine burn their churches and hang their people in trees? No. So why do they attack Asians just like whites do? Because Christianity teaches that their God created the universe and those that don't worship the Christian God don't deserve more than those that do. Look at all the Asian heathens who are doing well who don't show appreciation to the Christian God for their existence. Asians are occupying space in their God's universe and they don't show appreciation by obeying blindly what white people who only get to interpret what the Christian God wants... There are Asian Christians but not equal to them. Asians weren't forced to know only Christianity like they were. Asians still have and practice their own heathen culture and not embrace the Western cultural values meaning Asians aren't and never will be true Christians. Are we suppose to believe that embracing their Christianity means we'll be treated as equals? Ask blacks and Latinos, who have had their cultures destroyed by whites more than any other, who believe they're the most disenfranchised and victimized people of all the world which says it's all bull.

It's funny because there was that case of the Vice President of the San Francisco School District who was accused of racism against Asians calling them "house 'n-word'" for white supremacy in past tweets she made. Funny how people don't see things from other people's perspective because the same can be said vice versa. Who worships the white God? That's not a big indictment? Who stands behind patriotism and the flag when it comes to trade between the US and Asia? When minorities attack Asians over COVID-19, they're following white supremacist right-wing propaganda. Now who's the one in bed with white supremacy? Who is ultimately to blame for attacks upon Asians when they paint Asians with a broad brush over COVID-19 when they themselves don't want just the focus on white people for attacks upon Asians in the US?
@AssassinsMace its a dirty little secret that Religion especially the Christian/ Catholic faith is being used to subjugated us. I see it all the time, during my early years when I studied in a catholic school I see the contradictory , Priest flirting with married woman and pedophilia, cardinals and bishop active in promulgating gov't policy,( who elected this guys?) these kind of institution is a parasite to society, you can notice that nation with sizable catholic practitioner are usually poor (easily manipulated and are usually desperate) , they want it that way so that they can retain a large following with that power to influence gov't. And they are a good propagandist, they claim themselves to serve the poor while unabashedly asked donation,(its a lucrative business especially if you add baptismal , marriage and burial fee) they fight for your freedom if the regime is not of their choosing or of the US (ex. Duterte), they don't pay taxes but demand gov't service and if they committed a crime or offense they are not liable in our civil court instead they will be litigate by their owned, what a fine set up they're unaccountable...LOL

How are they going to do that with puny naval transportation? Instead of missile exercise they should built LST, LPD by hundred that should send clear and loud message. I mean they can do it is simple design and there are hundred of shipyard inland that can do it . Why they didn't do it I don't know? It wouldn't cost that much. So all those posturing is just empty gesture.
Not to get into the specific details, as I am not a general or anything like that, there are certain principles to look at.

1) Air power - how the invasion of Taiwan by the mainland will happen if it happens, it will start with an air battle. That is the general principle of air war, what is the most important battle? The first battle in air war is the important battle. Once you win that, then one side has air superiority, which means the other side troops cannot really move.

2) Landing - the PLA still has to land troops to invade Taiwan successfully, so they must do one or all of these things:
i) establish a beachhead, then breakout
ii) capture an field or airport, fly in the troops
iii) capture a port to just unload troops via the sea lanes
Here we have to expect the James Bond kind of stuff of secret infiltration to facilitate the invasion process, using frogmen, spies, etc. Taiwan being an island is both a strength and a weakness. There would be a lot of coast line to be aware of.

3) Outlying islands - essentially they are forward posts, and they have military value. The PLAAF putting up so many planes around those islands with feeble responses, kind of shows that the military situation has changed, that those islands can be taken at any time. Going back into the past, Deng Xiaoping was rumoured or reported (cannot remember now the details), that a Taiwan crisis will have the PLA take the islands in the middle of the strait first, before any attempts at an actual invasion. That kind of makes sense. Dismember the islands first, rouse up military movements, then plan the attack. Seems like a step by step process. The dismemberment comes first. The PLAAF flying the planes like they are kind of shows that that could be an area for invasion, from the south. We don't know. PLA could come from north, the middle, and south.

4) Actual battles on Taiwan, this is where being an island is a disadvantage, there is no guerilla war. If the PLA manages to control the roads, the ports, the airports, then they could hide in the mountains as long as they want. Eventually, they would be killed, captured, or starved to death.

Once Taiwan loses the opening air battle to PLAAF, no matter when this happens, next year or 100 years from now, it will not look good, the chances of Taiwan surviving the war.

The Americans are not really a game changer anymore more.

Need an expert opinion from members and a follow up on @Temstar previous post. Maybe the PLAN SOSUS is working perfectly and is operational in the SCS.

from 52051 (Pakistan defense forum),

Some sources (both from China and oversea) show that a Chinese type 054 FFG has forced two US nuclear submarines to surface in South China sea.

One of the submarine has a measure of 170 meter from satellite map, it is believed to be a Ohio class SSBN, the other is a Virginia class SSN.

I don't think China has the luxury of time. The foe won't allow it . Yes in history that is how ShiLang conquer Taiwan by landed on Penghu island first and built it as staging ground to invade the main Island.
The campaign was successful because Tungning has no ally

Air battle alone will not decide the outcome of war. Serbia is an exception because she is decrepit and russia does not help her except lip service does not apply to Taiwan.

How can you achieved beachead when they can only transport 2 battalions with present naval transport While Taiwan has 130,000 soldier connected by road and transport and can move reinforcement, armor and artillery, missile along the road. You need overwhelming force to overcome it and 2 battalion stranded on the beach is not going to do it half of it will be dead on arrival and the other half will be starved of munition and food since it take 16 hr for ship to travel back and forth all the while the transport ship is halved due to attrition

But attacking Penghu will invite the US 7th fleet and JMSDF to counter attack and declare war. But why beating around the bushes when you can go for the jugular

There is no go around but built that invasion armada and start training hard

Yes I was getting at this, but I didn't want to lead with the rumour so as to avoid colouring anyone's pespective, instead just curious if those satellite images do show subs running on surface or not.

My take is that Taiwan would surrender or sue for peace if there "modern life" was destroyed instantly. An opening attack would involve decapitating the leadership, air/naval/army bases, power, water and internet. After a few weeks of hunger, there choice would either become syria or just return to normal life if they agree to a 1 country 2 system where they slowly integrate back with China. People that want to leave can leave like the Hong Kongers from the past.

I'm still not convinced by the way. Recall a few month ago China and US was discussing exchange of prisoners and their effort and people were spreading rumours that PLAN captured a US nuclear sub, this feels a bit like that. On the other hand this rumour has more credibility behind it so I'm not dismissing it either.

If PLAN does have the capability to force SSN and SSGN to the surface like that that's a huge change in the equation in SCS and around Taiwan. SSGN carrying 308 tomahawks has always been a big threat even if all USN surface vessels could be kept back by AShBM.

Effective PR is to receive Chagossians of Diego Garcia and make a conference with them to show Hypocrisy of US and UK stealing their land

100% THIS. The fact that China hasn't brought this up every day is a travesty. Anglo nations keep asking China to respect UNCLOSS/ICJ/UN etc. rulings but they don't respect those rulings themselves! They deported an entire race from ~1,000 islands and installed a military base there and still won't give it back. That is 100x worse than what China is doing, since there is no population on any of the islands in the SCS.

Personally I feel enraged that China, along with Iran, Africa, Latin America, and all the woke idiot liberals in the US, UK, AUS, haven't brought this up! These people are still alive today and demanding the Americans and Brits give them their land back, and they hold protests in the UK.

China not throwing this shit in their faces every day... I just can't believe it. If there was ever something right at China's feet, it's stuff like this.

More examples of territorial conquest and ethnic cleansing ongoing today:
