They are still going on and on about these silly protests, really the USA might actually split apart between the republicans and democrats is almost a million times more likely then sometime like that happening in China. In all honesty when I see these FLG stands around where I live (which is far smaller the what it used to be like) it’s kinda sad to watch then populated by old folks that look like they are about to drop dead from peak dementia

There is not even a wikipedia article on the 1986 us japan semiconductor agreement, despite it being one of the most pivotal events in the global economy in the past 40 odd years.
I will also note that the crony japanese government has long since actually given up on having any sort ofphysical use for the low yen (manufacturing, industry whatnot), rather it serves tourism and foreign investment/speculation which continue to enrich the upper classes.
