Biden calls for a tripling of tariffs on Chinese steel as he makes economic pitch in Pittsburgh

None of these tariffs is going to bring their jobs back. America as a nation has progressed to the point of being an open liability to the world with its sanctions, money controlling and warmongering. By continuing to pander to the lowest common denominator, Biden isn’t solving anything but making the problem that much worse so really, to solve this problem, one must sit down and actually iron out the real problems and set real policies design to actually address these issues. Simply yelling out China and Russia bad and USA good like a kindergarten toddler isn’t going to stop the nation continuing down the path to where the movie ‘civil war’ out in the theaters near you could become a genuine possibility whereas in a normal world, I would be laughing at how ridiculous the notion is

These read like a problem list trumped up by some famous China doomers. I see three main thrusts: 1. China has a hyper-competitive society; 2. China doesn't have a proper political succession mechanism in place; 3. China faces some demographic headwind. For 1, I don't see why it's really a problem, except because of it, some people want to emigrate, and others, many criminals and debtors among them, are willing to use the well-established commercial trafficking routes to enter the US illegally. In the Deng era, the West insisted that China would collapse after Deng's death because of problem 2. It did not happen, because of China's meritocracy. As for low birth rate, I don't think it's severe enough to change China's trajectory.
Well, it is true that fertility rate has collapsed in China similar to those of South Korea. If you insist that it was the CIA's PSYOP, then I guess the CIA has done a perfect job turning Chinese women against Chinese men (look up the name Leta Hong Fincher), just like the Megalia feminists completely devastating South Korea's youth population in the upcoming decades. Who's blame is it when neither the South Korean government nor the CCP took notice of the radical feminist threat seriously, which was based on lies and trumped-up charges against supposed macho patriarchy. Whilst feminism is supposed to give women more opportunities in work places and universities (as done properly in Western countries), feminism in South Korea and China has to led toxic family relations and utter destruction of birthrate. There are simply no solution to this issue (maybe immigration for females workers from friendly countries, I guess).

As with China's hyper competitive society, 996 is still illegal. It is an outright violation of China's own labour contract law. However, the government is powerless to stop the 996 practice because everyone is doing it. Now you have situation where there is a total disregard for labour rights amid a collective disregard for the law. It is average citizens who pay the price since they have no life outside of work. People who are worked to death are simply seen as the necessary sacrifices for progress, while well-connected bureaucratic capitalists continue to enjoy their party membership and secretly move their quasi-legal assets abroad. And the families of these bureaucratic capitalists could avoid the hyper competition of China by enjoying genuine liberal democracy in the US, Australia, and Canada as rich kids living in huge mansions. Call it social darwinism in its most sadistic and lawless form.

I am not saying that China will collapse, but clearly it is far from being a "harmonious society" championed by CCP leaders. It is extremely tough to make a living in China as a joe average citizen (especially young Chinese men without somewhat well-to-do parents), unless you are one of those predatory elites who are party members, whilst your privileged families move overseas to become the most ardent supporters of neoliberal policies in order to protect your often illicit properties.

It's a quite dramatic negative turn of sentiment for PERU. Based on the score it got back in 2020, the population was very positive with the direction of the country at 70+ percent compared to the most recent poll when it's an inverse.

They had a coup in 2022 that resulted in the removal and arrest of Peru's elected leftist president and the installation of an US puppet.

Incidentally, Peru's current unelected puppet government is now trying to renege on deals signed with China.

By the way, if you are trying to convince Chinese people that you are a Chinese person from Guangzhou and not, say an Indian Christian from Hong Kong, then you shouldn't call the CPC the CCP. That's not what Chinese people call their government :)

You are describing exactly the situation of places like South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, the Philippines and western countries like CANADA, U.S. Australia the bastion of what you described AS REAL LIBERAL DEMOCRACY. I know what I am talking about because I am living in one of those liberal countries.

Like I said, you have yet to provided a real rationale and intellectual reason(s) for the need of China to revamped/revise its current political system as you have weasely trying to point out.

I find it beyond laughable that a single writer/scholar can make such a dramatic impact on THE MAJORITY OF CHINESE WOMEN both URBAN AND RURAL with regards to their radical shift and views on family, feminism, and it's negative interpretation of the masculine role in Chinese society. Based on my anecdotal experiences of dating Chinese women (millenials) from mainland, all of which were highly educated in the west (Australia, Canada) none possess the toxic feminist anti-Chinese men, anti-family you have seem to insist to be a country wide phenomenon that it simply isn't. My exes want families but no more and no less than 2 due to costs, attention, and time associated with raising a child. Both my prior partners dated western men as I have but can't reconcile cultural incompatibility and outlook especially when it comes to family (parents) duty.

I am not oppose to what you wrote but what I am oppose to is your inability to couch your opinion and observations in a relative manner since you tend to generalize and lump every women of China into one category as you did with your attempt to justify the reason of Chinese population decline. Not to mention your absurd assertion without evidence (other than hearsay) by suggesting that the vast overwhelming party members which essentially means government workers ARE ALL ROTTEN AND CORRUPT TO THE CORE; THEY ALL WORK TO ENRICH AND FATTEN THEMSELVES AT THE EXPENSE OF THE ALWAYS EXPENDABLE CHINESE MASSESS. Which are dumb enough not to rise up for a revolution since they're too busy working like animals due to the insane 996 work. Are you f..ng real?
